I worked well today and have reduced my pile of backlog a little bit. If I continue to work at today's pace - I should finish the backlog in about 2 weeks. My mind still strayed but I just kept telling myself "one thing at a time".
Just wanted to share

I accompilshed something last night as well, even though it was pretty lame (short chapter) I was very happy with myself. So I know how you feel. Only my procrastination has started again. Good luck with it!

I think I'm leaning toward the "Paper Chase" option about now. I bet all these press releases and printers' bids and photographers' bids and drafts and redrafts of copy would look kind of charming drifting over the street and cars and people if I dumped armload after armload of 'em out my office window. I wonder if I could borrow the shredder from Personnel down the hall, so it'd look more like streamers. Hmmm. Worth thinking about. ;) Atticus

Streamers! Kind of like all the confetti I made yesterday punching what felt like millions of pieces of useless paper to put in their proper files, never to be looked at again.
Actually, they call it a system!

Congratulations. Wish I could make some progress on my piles. Actually I have boxes and boxes of papers from years of not being able to go through them. I have a big pile on the floor now too that I just leave there.

thanks for sharing it with us!
I picked up some of the confetti, which was my newspaper yesterday, from my floor where it had been shredded and strewn from one end of the house to the other by my sweet puppies.
I also shoveled some doggy doo out of my walkway and put a whole bunch of hay in my horses'pen.
Oh, yeah! I took the legs and rocking suspension out of the ratty old rocker/recliner, to be properly repaired.
