I'll be away with less internet access

Posted by gardenergirl on November 23, 2004, at 21:15:56

Hi all,
I hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving. I am going to visit my sis and the in-laws, so I will be away from home until Monday night. I may have some internet access, but much less than usual. So, I'll miss my Babble buddies, but I'll catch up when I get back.
Take care,
gg

gg happy turkey day and all the lovely socializing. talk to you on Monday.

I still have to work today 11-7pm then it's over till Sunday for me.
This holiday is just a dress rehersal for the the x-mas finale.
The energy in the store is overwhelming.
People are needing so much help these days....
and in such depth.
This too I will survive.
Jai

OMD! My inlaws must be from the planet Venus. They turned the heat on when it was 74 outside!!!!!!!!!!!!

74!!!!!!!!! And one night they set the thermostat on heat for 79!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I'm going to yell now, so cover your eyes!)

PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!!! EVER HEAR OF PANTS? LONG SLEEVES?

Seriously, I couldn't take anymore clothes off and still be decent to be comfortable. They are only in their early sixties. Dog help me in another ten years...

But I love them through the sweat. Nice to be back to the chill, though.

Sorry for venting.

I'll trade you - my inlaws had the air conditioning set to 60 when it was a balmy 70 outside. Dry, breezy. Between the arctic conditions and their bizarre need for bottle water only, it was a long couple of day.
Welcome back.

I have this same problem at work... In the winter, the heat is on 75, in the summer, the AC is on 60...

Isn't 70 degrees inside the same whether it's summer or winter outside???!!!???

Why do people have to go to such extremes?

Welcome back everyone!
