by Me.my closet's a mess
my bed is a nest
my room is a total disaster
my dishes are covered
with food they are smothered
to clean them
I'll need a sandblasterthe trash has been strewn
through my house all at random
by puppies who shred things
with darling abandoni really don't care
but then, maybe i do
that my home resembles a dump
see, i have a confession
i'm stilled by depression
that's keeping me here
in this slumpso tomorrow I'll clean
my home, it will gleam
my pride will swell up in my chest
the place will be neat
my accomplishment sweet
aw, the hell with it
i need my rest.
