>I was low on everything, except high schizoid. Ya, right. I live alone because it's easier to manage my depression and other disorders, not because I'm cold, distant, and eccentric. I am eccentric, but that's because I don't take myself too seriously. Y'all can have your prejudice. I can't be bothered.
The problem in diagnosing personality disorders is that you should seek all alternative explanations for the behaviour before attributing the behaviour to stable character traits. Just a cautionary statement about tests like this....personality disorders are Axis II in the DSM diagnostic hierarchy. Axis I disorders, those with a biological basis (I know, it's arbitrary), are the first diagnoses to consider, and they must be excluded before moving to Axis II.
Still, it's interesting to have suggestions from tests like this one. Might point to fruitful avenues of cognitive introspection.

bah! antisocial my ass! now i'm really upset! i once asked my therapist if he thought i had antisocial personality disorder and he laughed at me. it's because i exaggerate at times and one time i shoplifted. of course, i got caught. and, to make things worse, i told my sister to take something too (plant hangers, totalling a buck fifty). now, i can't go back to the local grocery, i had to pay both fines, but, we got lovely pictures posted on the walls. i was smiling, she was crying (she's a sissie).
antisocial? antisocial? i just got over that fear! ha! stupid online test, just try to scare me with your next dx. i dare you!
histrionic.. hmm, i'm a bit scared. (ooohhh, my ovaries hurt! humor folks, humor :)
avoidant.. ha! not a chance.

According to the famous leader test I'm either Ghandi or Mother Theresa, depending on which version. Now I feel pressure to get the Nobel Peace Prize. :)
According to the famous movie test, I'm Wuthering Heights.
I'm not sure the leader test quite matches with the movie test....

I'm a bit surprised by this. No one has ever suggested to me that I might have a personality disorder. Maybe it's because I have them all, and everyone is afraid of me?

I meant to add before I pushed the button, that this agrees with what my T. told me - that I don't have a personality disorder, but do have severe complex PTSD. I know people dread being told that they have a high degree of a personality disorder, but I think therapists are far more skillful than they used to be at helping people with those. They are just beginning to be skilled at treating PTSD, but things are improving there, also. I feel lucky to have a T. who is skilled and experienced with PTSD, but I do think it is a slow, arduous process overcoming it. In a year and a half, I know much more about what my abuses were, but I can't say that I have yet overcome their effect on my life to any great extent. It's just going to be a slow process, even with the strong positive relationship I've developed with my T.

Well, I don't know if I'd take this test too seriously. When I was taking it I found myself wanting some way to indicate the degree to which things seemed true or false to me. I ended up with a lot of high scores too, but I don't think I really have a personality disorder. At least, none of my Ts in the past have suggested it, and I don't see myself fitting the full criteria in the DSM IV for any of them. I think I just have traits of a lot of them in a lesser degree than generally required for a personality disorder, and/or not enough to qualify for the diagnosis.
This sounds like I'm saying that I'm better than someone with a personality disorder, but I really don't think that way. Honestly, I think everyone has reasons for the issues that they have, and mine just happen to be different than most PDs. I mainly don't want anyone to get too discouraged because of what this test says. I think it has some major flaws.

My beef with personality tests in general is that they seem to have a bias for extroversion and against introversion. If you're introverted, it seems like you start out well on your way to a fair number of "personality disorders". Which makes me wonder how much a role cultural bias plays in defining what is pathological.

Keep in mind that this test, however fun it was to take, is not necessarily reliable or valid. So, your results may vary. But to answer your question...it would post quite a conflict.
My spin on it (a bit tongue in cheek) ...You desire close attachments to feel secure, but it scares the pants off of you, and if you don't get them anyway, you get angry at the other person??????
Now that would make my head spin. I think you're great however the test comes out.
:D
Take care,
gg
