crazy yoshimi samurai

Posted by yoshimi on July 22, 2004, at 4:33:40

cuz she sees everything in a billion colors
when people say its just horribly boring
when sunset is painful and skies are alive
each noise tells a story and anything could
be everything.

but its not tangible adn you cant touch it
and so you cant retrieve it and its just gone
when it was part of something.
and the clay in her hands turns to dust
and the paint crumbles and the ideas sink
beneath the pier in the fog.

and yoshimi knows there was something there
even if the rest of the world doesnt believe her.

These are wonderful. I wish I could write like that. You may want to post them in Psycho-Babble Writing though – you'll probably get more of a response there.

thank you for writing.
its ok im just broken into pieces.
i am no writer really.
and i bet you could write just as well.
in fact, i am artistically blocked right
now which was what that was all about.

its nice to meet you i dont think we've met.
well, im mostly a lurker. i postedhere long time
ago, but have since had to change my name and
along with that I suppose i have made myself
different, and
no one knows me now.

its ok though. its all just an intersting observation: life.
who knows what will happen next.

>i am artistically blocked right>

I know that feeling, I'm an artist as well. Is writing the type of art you practice? I'm more of a pencil and paper, or computer artist. I like to draw and love to work with colors. I think everyone has a bit of an artist in them. In some its just not as nurtured as others. I had a friend who claimed to not have an artistic bone in her body, but yet make the most beautiful flower arrangements. I wasn't the only one to correct her about that misconception.

As for you not being a writer, I'll have to respectfully disagree. You quite obviously have talent. You words make me feel emotions and see pictures in my mind, which is not something just anyone could do.

I hope you'll stick around and keep posting. This is a good place.

oh i am no artist really. i do computer art some and other fine art but im no artist. i just do a little of it all.
and i appreciate you saying i am a good writer, but i am only that in the way that everyone is, like sometime in certain situations, words come out of me like that and they make such sense, but if you were to tell me to write, i really couldnt come up with anything.

oh, i am sticking around, i have been here for a long time, years even but mostly in the background. i posted way back when and it was very nice and now i am yoshimi and i am not the same. but its good in a way because i am becoming this person i would dream of.

the new me yoshimi, could be anything, but what?
its actually sort of like a personsculpture, what
are they like what do they like, how do they
dress, where did they come from. creating my
own reality from shards of a past.

Its fascinating here in my head. But it doesnt
get my job done. So i suppose i have to sign off
for a bit.

Yoshimi

p.s. i appreciate you writing me. it breaks
up some of my loneliness.
