No question on this one... NPR. Stern gives me a bad allergic reaction.
Partlycloudy.... You can get relatively inexpensive shortwave radios that will pick up CBC, BBC, VOA, or lots of other stations. We're really limited culturally with radios that only get AM and FM bands. It's worth going to radio shack and getting a shortwave radio for around $50.00. You can look up frequencies on the web, or through magazines that cater to short wave listening. You'll be surprised at what you hear.
I've learned lots listening to the BBC about what was going on here, that was never reported on US news.Dee.

I've been listening to him lately. When I'd listened before the show was just plain vulgur and annoying.
But since the FCC ruling it's changed. He's now gone political, pro free speech, anti Shrub. It's amusing.
But then, I've only been listening for a week or so, so I might get tired of it.
