Karen,
we've got fog and it is only 73 degrees...so you can come over and make dinner for me! I had a lunch meeting with some of my staff today and made soup in the crock pot. So, not too hot, it's you! :)On the other hand, it is a good excuse to wear very little clothing, don't you think?

oh dear, i never thought of your idea daisy... i'm losing my clothes now! (great timing too, as i haven't eaten yet and i've had 2 beers)
oh, and did i mention i'm not a good cook? i just took the roast out of the oven, fixed plates and heard my old man crunching on something. it's not done (which happens too frequently to me) so i've had to put it back in the oven (oh no! more heat) for another 45 minutes. once, when i made a thanksgiving dinner i tried to serve half cooked vegetables, but my guests protested and made me put them back in to finish cooking (what's the big deal, so they're a little crunchy. it adds to the enjoyment of the meal, with the sounds and all, right?).. long story short (or is it??) noone ate the veggies because they were done an hour after the food was. but, boy did i have cooked zucchini (yes, i spell checked zucchini! imagine that!) and carrots and broccoli for the next 5 days!!! (oh! and the turkey was fabulous!)

It's just you, dear. I'll make you a burnt grilled cheese sandwich to go with those beers. I'm not burning it just for you, it's unfortunately how bad of a cook I am.
I'll just have the two beers, please.

OK, hold on both of you, I'm coming. But we'll have to move to whiskey sours, 'cause I don't do beer.
I'm a great cook, I just finished making chinese food (yes, making, not ordering!) for my monsters. Almond chicken, yum.
And brownies for later. (Now you know they've already eaten half of them before dinner, right?)
I think I feel another baking span coming on. No wonder my kids love me!
