i've been off my meds and went back on last tuesday. i was off celexa for about 2 weeks and wellbutrin for about a month. how long before they kick in? i'm not doing very well right now.

I'm fairly sure that this post will get moved to the meds board, but I'll give my thoughts here.
Meds can take some time to start being fully effective. Sometimes, up to six weeks. If you're in trouble, you should contact your p-doc though. There is a chance that S/he might be able to give you something to help you over the hump. Your therapist, too should know.
In the meantime, try to find ways to be safe. Find things to occupy your mind. Play some music, take a bath, etc.
