Bald is just lovely on a guy! Just not on my head from this combination of meds!

You know, my little cousin (6'6") shaves his head, and it drives my mother crazy. I'm a little bit sorry that he's so uncomfortable about his receding hairline, but I'm also pretty admiring that he's found a solution that relieves his distress and improves his self-image. That, of course, is that analysed view of his noggin-shavin' -- how does he look to me, right? Damn good!

(I was in the gym one night, many years ago, glancing in the mirror, hoping to see a good looking guy for some fun eye candy. This big, tall hunka shiver-bait comes through the door, and I'm watching him in the mirror. Too bad, he's with a woman. Then he meets my eye in the mirror -- and bellows, "Hey, Cuz!" Yeah, he looks good with his chrome dome.)

So, is the question just about shaving, or about baldness in general?

I guess neither one is a negative to me. Although, some people certainly look better sans hair than others. Maybe it's an individual thing. I know plenty of bald guys that I would consider very attractive. And one or two who might look a bit better with hair. I know a couple of folks who shave their heads, and IMHO it doesn't *improve* their looks, but it doesn't gross me out either. I can imagine certain people who would look better without hair than with.

Another factor is that it does allow a rather intimate look at a body part that isn't usually that available for viewing. Which I find interesting.

Well...you just made this balding guy feel pretty good. :-)
But, I do shave my head also, just leave little whiskers.
The hardest part was that I started losing my hair in Grade 11, and had to live through younger years with that. At 34 now, though, I am *far* more concerned with trying (and I emphasize that!..heh.) to keep 'fit'. Psych drugs may often really be of help to the mind, but they can mess up the body at times.

Balness/shaved doesn't put me off a guy at all, though I might find it a bit freaky if he didn't have any hair at all! I'm more concerned that the guy doesn't have a hairy back!). I've heard that in general, bald guys have higher testosterone levels than their hairy equivalents, so it might even be an attractive feature for women.

My incredibly handsome husband has been balding since he was in his twenties. I can't picture him in my mind with any hair, and photos I have seen of him with a full head of hair look funny! I can't imagine him any better looking than he is.
