hello my friends, and goodbye. this may be my last post. no i'm not gonna do aniething bad, not yet atleast, but my parents found out about this site and they don't like it. i hate my parents so much. i feel like i'm losing a familie. i may post during school once or twice or maybe a few times during the summer. besides that....................................i'll miss you all. i'm almost crying right now. i gotta hold it in cause i'm in school and there are people here, but i alreadie cried about it. i wish i could get to know all of you better. i love you all. you've helped me so much in the passed month. well i hope get to post some other time. otherwise, goodbye.
my sn is twpals69 if anieone wants to talk to me. i trust you guys with all my secrets so heres my sn. i'm grounded from that until schools out in 2 weeks. so i wont be on. well i'll talk to you guys later. i hope. goodbye. and thankyou. i love you all.

oh dear! i'm sorry your parents had that reaction to babble. is there a way you could convince them instead?
if they won't reconsider, then hopefully you'll be able to 'sneak' back on every once in a while (but don't get into trouble, ok?). take care of yourself ivan, and it's been a pleasure knowing you. i'll keep an eye out for you...

Psst! How about spending some free time at the library? Most libraries these days have web connections....
I know what it's like to have parents who don't understand looking for help for depression and such ... but I've had 20 years to work that out! I hope you can come back soon.

Ivan, I do hope you are getting support IRL. I don't know if you are in therapy, or whether you've sought support from local resources. If not, talk to a school counselor, call the local youth crisis hotline, talk to your doctor, call the local mental health association. There are lots of good resources out there.

I don't know you well but I was wondering why your parents don't like you on this site? i find it to be very helpful, it like having a journal but it gives you feedback. what kind of journal can do that? I was a teenager not that long ago too, but if my memory hasn't failed me, my mom didnt like anything i did or the kids i hung out w/, so now i'm a adult w/ kids and have a teenager myself and there's are sits i don't let my son go on, in fear of who he's talking to or how much info. he's giving someone, you don't know. mybe they don't want you to get hurt. hope things work out for you. good luck

You scared me over in the writing board. Although i am suprised to hear that your parents object to this board. Did you (calmly) ask them why they object? Do they understand what this site does for you? I understand that a lot of parents view any online discussion board like "dangerous chat lines" however this is a help-site that is monitored. Maybe explain this to them and maybe sit with them at this site and show them the medical board, and the writings board...let them know that you are getting support here,but most importantly that this site lets you truly express yourself anonymously. let them know what the site does for you. I'm guessing that you probably aren't the type that shares everything with your parents (most don't) but maybe if you open up and just let them know that this is important to you right now, maybe that can make a difference?
Are you getting any counseling/therapy right now? if not i STRONGLY suggest it. It's still fairly new to me, but i'm starting to feel like i have at least one IRL ally in my corner. Someone that understands the importance of all the little things i do, all the coping mechanisms i have (good or bad) he understands and doesn't judge me for them.
I REALLY hope you can get back on. I'll even chat with your parents if their willing. :) i'd love to give them my perspective. (i wouldn't try to "talk them into" Anything...just give my opinion of this site).
This is the very FIRST discussion board that i've become part of. Ivan i have four words that will solve all your problems for you EVIL PINK FLUFFY BUNNIES. now i have mentioned before how that corrupt the cheerleaders and take them as slave capsules but i have inside connections with them. you see i can get them to make your parrents forget about psycho babble but if that doesnt work there are other alternative 1) friends house if they take it better 2) library 3) parrents not home 4)parrents asleep i mean hello its summer they work your home you can sleep in they cant well you cant sleep in if you have a job but i still you have more days off or 5) have something else up behind psycho babble and if they walk in close it and pretend your doing something else i mean there are alot of alternatives. the key is DONT GET CAUGHT. I mean sometimes its I fought the law and i won not visa versa.
