I received an email from lonelygirl this morning. She is fine, dealing with parents and graduation and will be without internet access until she gets back home on Monday. From her email, it sounds like she has much to tell us!

After 2 days of driving (with my mom...yippee), I have about 700 miles to go. We stopped in Missouri tonight and were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel has "free" internet access in the rooms! I tried going in open but it was about midnight, pacific time (I haven't gotten around to changing my watch), and nobody was there :(
I had my last session with my psychologist last Tuesday. I will probably write about it in great detail on the psychology board when I get home, but I don't have a lot of time tonight, because we are getting back on the road again early tomorrow morning.
I graduated on Thursday, and I suffered through two long, boring graduation ceremonies (one for the whole school on Thursday, and one for engineering on Friday). It took me forever to pack, and I just barely finished in time for the checkout deadline. My parents also came in town on Wednesday, so I had to do stuff with them. Long story short, I haven't had a lot of internet time lately!
I have to wrap this up now because I have to get up in 5 hours. Thanks for thinking of me, and I will catch up after I get home (Monday night).

I love hotels with net access. I always try to stay in them. :)
CONRATS on surviving college. I look forward to talking to you soon. I don't have much time right now, but I just wanted to send you my well-wishes. And I'm hoping you have a safe trip home!!

Lonelygirl -
You graduated!!! I am so proud of you. You really did it.
Today is truly the first day of the rest of your life.
Falls.
P.S. Just in case you have some apprehension about being in the "real" world... This is a time of change for me, too - and I'm terrified. I keep telling myself that it is perfectly normal to be scared (but it still doesn't feel "normal"). And I keep going back and forth between making small steps of progress and sinking back into depression convinced that I will never get out. So expect a rollercoaster, and try to enjoy the ride.
This is the end of the thread.
