Hey Everyone! ,
I just wanted to say have a great week. I am off to Boca for some nice shopping, spaing nad relaxing. Cannot not wait, if only I did not have to get on a plan to get there...Oh well I am going to keep a klodipin handy. I will write when I get back on Friday or Saturday. There is a big party for my Dad on Friday so my boy and I are going to that. So I will probably be back on here Saturday. So I hope everyone has a wonderful week, happy mothers day to all the Mama Yo Yo's.

The s/e of going from 10 to 15 are not nearly as bad as just starting Lex.

How many mg are the Xanax pills. Maybe you could break one in half and just take half. Would you be more comfortable with this?

I don't see a problem with going to 15 and then to 20. If you think you need more than 10 and you are afraid to increase, try breaking a 10mg pill into 4 parts and start with 12.5mg (1 1/4 - 10mg pills).

Simus...Thanks for the post I think your the greatest...I am getting some really good feedback so for that I'm grateful...Just trying to keep busy today getting the summer stuff out and washed and feeling ok...I just dont know why i make myself suffer so much and am soooo stubborn..haha..My xanax is .5 and I have never had a problem the few times i have broken down and taken them...But it is just the stubborn phobia and that i can get through this myself and obcession with something happening..hahahah Wish we could all just be fine and happy and consistantly happy...Well my friend thank you again..You are just another one of my angels that I have found on these posts and thank god every single night for along with everyone feeling good and fearless...Luvya Mystic

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I am 33, married with two kids and suffer from anxiety/panic disorder. I am on 5mg of Lexapro and 0.25 of xanax when needed. I used to be on xanax everynight before my doc put me on lexapro 6 weeks ago. I am feeling much better but I think I should increase my dose to 10mg, I was suppose to do that after 7 day but when I did I think my body wasn't used to the medication and I felt funny so I cut back down to the 5mg.
I am going back to my doc next week so I will check with her.
I am so glad that I found this site and am looking forward to meeting people who feel the same way I do... it makes me feel so much better to know that I am not alone.

you are not alone. i suffer from the same things and i feel really strange cause none of my friends have the same disorder so i have learned to deal with it alone. if it wasnt for the support i find here i would feel really alone, but the people here are so wonderful and compasionate and know exatly what it is like.
i hope you find your way like so many of us are trying to.

HEY GIRL! i am on 20 right now. i starting with 10, but moved up to 20 after the first week. it works great for me. i just hate the no sex drive thing. my doc thought the wellbutrin would help, but i quit taking it in 4 days and now i feel good. i will deal with the no sex drive later. right now i am just glad to be in a good mood rather than chewing my fiances head off. he loves it. how does the 15 do for you? are you thinking about increasing. i had no side effects when i did. so, if it were up to me, i would say go for it girl! i have actually lost 4 pounds since i started taking lex. weight gain was never an issue with me. the sex drive thing is my biggest, but besides that i have no other side effects at all. i read alot about how some people have foggy vision and i dont have that either. i guess i am one of the lucky ones. were your side effects realy bad when you started, did they last long. my increase did absolutly nothing but make it better. if you feel like the 10 is not doing anything for you, then maybe you should increase,. but in my opinion the 5 mlg increase may not do much at all. if i were you, i would go ahead and jump to 20. but remember i am not a doc and everyone is different. write me back!--bride

That was quick bride..you must be working...My s/e in the beginning where a really wired feeling and increased anxiety but now I have good weeks and bad weeks and with all the stress lately it has been bad...just very anxious and sad feeling the anxiety is the worst just the feeling of dooom all the time and the scared feelings so that is why i was thinking of the increase...Just sick of feeling like this all the time..scared and anxious and just not right...rollercoaster...Thanks for listening you the best...Mystic

you really need to talk to your doc. i think you need an increase or maybe something added to the lex. alot of people do that. you will be fine. remember you have to find what works for you and 10 lex may not be it. dont be scared, it will be all better really soon. be strong. p.s. i signed up for open babble. how does that work. is it a live chat or what??????????
