tell me a good Bjork album. I got the first one, but I overplayed it in my car and am sick of it. Besides the music I like her clothes a lot (including the swan dress).

I've got her greatest hits and it's my favorite cd. It never fails to make me feel good. There's just something inspirational about it. Of course I have to sing along at the top of my voice, and I don't know all the words, so its kind of a solo thing. I'm not good at names of songs, but there's this one where she talks about how every morning she goes to this cliff in her yard and throws things off just to watch them fall down. I love that one. In fact, it took me forever to hear the whole cd because I loved the first four songs so much I always wanted to hear them again immediately. That may be the OCD talking, I don't know. But the whole thing is great.
Air is also one of my faves. Has anyone heard of them? They're French and I went to one of their concerts a few weeks ago. Their music and Bjork's just seems to heal my soul.

it's hyper ballad, from post. the song you are referring to. i love bjork. she's just so darn cute, isn't she? and i think my favorite album is homogenic. i just think that her sound from that album is more mature perhaps? i don't know. i think i've discussed this before on here. i think i'm beginning to repeat myself... i love the way she wears torn ball gowns with blue jeans. everything about bjork is so cute. have you heard her with the sugar cubes? (is that the right name even?) i saw an old video of her with them and she was so darling. the sound was a bit 'poppy' for my taste, but she was so cute.
i do adore bjork though.i've heard of air, but the only song i'm familiar with is 'sexy boy' my sisters are big fans though.

I have seen her in concert on the TV and saw her in a movie where she sang a whole bunch of orginal songs...her voice is so strong and true. The movie broke my heart.
I loved hearing Air....I hear them on the radio station called The River.

so it's one vote for greatest hits, and one for homogenic, right? What they hey, I'll pick up a couple more CDs. I've not had a new musical love since Ani DiFranco, but her sound just isn't fitting me so well anymore. I tried re-visiting my former love, Tori Amos, but that didn't work too well either. Gotta move forward I guess.
That movie was dancer in the dark, but I found it just too sad.

Most people I know just listen to the typical top 40, so its cool talking with people who actually know who the heck I'm talking about.
Yeah, 'Sexy Boy' is one of my favorites. I thought a girl sang it for a long time though, but its one of the two guys. He has a kind of strange voice, but he's like a musical genius or something. Nobody I know except my brother has even heard of Air. We discovered them separately and were surprised when we realized it .
