Hello fellow babblers

Posted by sdjeff on April 21, 2004, at 0:02:02

sorry, I've been pretty self-absorbed lately. Rainyday, KK, Dinah and the rest of you all have my virtual love and I hope things are getting better.

Things seem to be better on the new meds. at least I haven't freaked out, thanks mostly to the Geodon. I'm on 4 different meds and definitely am getting the "dumb affect" but at least my emotional baseline is better. can't say that for any other treatment.

I wish my SSDI advocate would get on the ball. 3 weeks and she still hasn't requested my medical records. I know she's busy and I don't want to be difficult here, but c'mon! There are few reps who wll take you before the first denial and I have to remember that.

That's a moot point anyway, my pdoc lost my chart. Grrrrrrrrr. It's like you can't win for losing.

Well, before this spirals into some huge rant, I'll stop here and wish everyone a happy Wednesday.

hello jeffypooh. i'm done with my paper. now i'm working on a resume and coverletter for an english class. i've decided to apply for a cashier position. underestimating my abilities, you say? i don't care at this point. it's late and i'm too exhausted to try and search around for a position in my major. and if she complains about my choice i'll tell, her like i have been everyone else! would you like for me to give your advocate a call? i don't mind, really. you could deny knowing me.

Hello to you too, Jeff. I hope the medication ride smoothes out soon. I've had my own rollercoaster ride lately.

I'm with KK by the way - I can place a phone call for you too. I like the whole customer service rant with healthcare (as long as you bend the right ear).

Here is a non-related but close story: when I applied to change my name on my green card to my new married name, it took 14 months before I received the card. AND, I had to send a "status enquiry" form before I got it. Bureaucracy is enough to make anyone nuts.

Not that we're nuts.
Well, not that you're nuts.

Like the new name, btw! (nm) » sdjeff

Happy Thursday, Jeff.

Sorry I haven't been responding to your posts - I have been reading and sending you good thoughts, however. Glad to hear things are looking brighter for you... :-)
