Absolutely nervous useless all day. And now giddy happy silly.

And all over a TV show.

Ok, now I've admitted some embarassing things here, but this may top the list.

what TV show? (nm)

-Gasp!- How wonderful! I didn't even imagine they'd reveal his name. I'll be eagerly awaiting the recap and the DVD release.

Any news of the other characters?

Don't be ashamed.. it's a great show and many millions of people were just as eager (right?)

Those of use too cheap to buy cable have one consolation.. this week is the Bachelorette finale. I'm pretty hyped up about that. Aw, nevermind, it doesn't hold a candle to SATC.

Oh, they gave lovely endings to all. Charlotte and her husband just got news of their new baby girl that will be arriving in six months from China. That is a really great relationship.

And Steve's mom had some strokes and Miranda let her come live with them. She ran off and Miranda tried to find her, and eventually located her eating pizza from a garbage can, brought her home and bathed her herself. Magda, the disapproving nanny, saw this and told Miranda that she knew how to love and gave her the motherless Miranda a kiss on the temple. I honestly thought that was the best moment of the show. How many of us want that kiss on the temple from a mother figure.

Samantha had had a loss of sex drive from the chemo, but Smith stuck with her and refused to seek sex elsewhere, and she eventually recovered. Oh, that was really sweet too. He had told her that trees grow bare in the winter, but they didn't die, and the leaves come back in the spring. Then he sent her some narcissus? bulbs with a note that he was looking forward to spring. And they were blooming as Samantha and he had hot sex. Never saw hot sex be so touching. :)

They really fleshed the others out better than they did Carrie's story. Though there were some nice touches. He didn't tell her he loved her, he told her she was The One. (I'm not sure if you remember but on one of their breakups she wanted to know why she couldn't be "The One". And when she asked him if he wanted to come back to her apartment, he answered with the absof*ckinlutely from the pilot. So it was sappy sentimental to those of us rooting for the relationship. Oh, and he's moving back from Napa. The vineyard's up for sale.

Storybook endings all, but then again I could watch the news if I wanted reality. :)

Thanks for the recap. I just got bleary-eyed reading the 12 pages of posts on Twop about the episode. I assumed the DVD would be out soon, but no! Amazon says it's not out til May 18, and then only the 1st half of the season. No word on when the 2nd half is released :-(

Well that just stinks! Release half a season at once? (pout) I hope the price reflects the difference. I suppose they figure if we bought seasons 1-5 we'll feel like we need season 6.

No, it's about the same price as the full seasons. To be fair there are a few more episodes in 6 than the normal 18, but still, I think they're just trying to profit off the show's popularity. Season 5 was a rip-off too-- it was only 2 discs, fewer episodes due to the pregnancies of SJP and CN, but same price as previous 3-disc seasons. I didn't bother to buy it-- it wasn't very good anyway (I rented it from blockbuster to make sure).

My main gripe is having to wait til March. Geez, will I even care by then?

I loved Sex the City, thanks for the update

Do any of you watch "6 Feet Under"? That was my most favorite show. I'd love an update on that.
A little history:
My TV died...I decided not to replace it. I am a confessed TV addicted person. I would sit infront of that thing till my eyes were totally dry and my mind was hollow. Much too long.
So we did the 'give it up' thing. So I am dying to find about "6 feet under" and the new season.
Please if anyone has watched it I would love to know what is going on.
thanks

I've done the 'give up TV' thing a couple times but now I'm TV saturated. My only limit is I don't have cable, but that maybe just reduces the quality not the quantity :-(

I don't watch 6 feet under-- sorry. But there's a website that does really detailed recaps of shows and they cover that show http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/

I have to warn you though, that site can be as addictive as watching TV.
