Love letter to kidd?

Posted by karen_kay on February 19, 2004, at 22:35:42

I miss you, kinda. Like you miss that penny in your shoe. Or when you miss the last goal at a hockey game. I sorta have a feeling you're avoiding me, but it could just be paranoia. And, maybe I'd rather you avoid me, because you seem to smell like trouble. And I wonder, "Did I do something wrong?" But, I second-guess myself and come to the conclusion that I'm never wrong. So, it must be you. And if you want to avoid me, fine! I won't plead. I won't beg. But, I think I'm too good for you and your rather dramatic attempts to gain attention by not posting anyway. And maybe I said I miss you, but I'm a liar you know! I'll admit that, but it's not a fault I have, just a nice ploy to defend myself. Did you forget that I don't have any faults? I certainly didn't. Maybe you're the one with the wretched memory, "Not I" said Karen. So, I'm not asking you to talk to me. I'm not asking you for anything, as if you would provide it. Because all I want is to talk to you, but if you're so bold as to think that you're above me and my standards, then I'll stop asking. I'll just go back to my cigarette and forget this conversation ever took place. I don't need you or your means of distraction and disentegration. I won't have it, you hear me? As if you've ever listened in the past. But, I suppose I'll sit silently in the corner, with my friend Joe Camel, waiting to see what happens. And maybe I'll move on with my life, or perhaps I won't. But, I suppose it's no concern of yours, as you don't even bother to talk to me anymore. So, I'll go. And sit silently by myself, once again. It'll be hard to get over you, but I guess it's a lesson learned. That's fine. I don't care. Couldn't care less, in fact. I'll be fine without you. You'll see. One day I'll do great things and when you see my smiling face on TV, you'll hear me say, "Well, it's no thanks to kidd." So there, you'll see. One day.

Sincerely,

Karen

PS. I want all of my things back, including CD's. I have a list you know, as I do have OCPD traits.

You talkin to me? If not, never mind. If so, you must know I would never intentionally ignore a women of your obvious quality. I do find however, that being somewhat aloof drives most women bonkers. Of course I would be loathe to try such a tacky manipulation on a prize such as yourself. Actually my Mom has been in the hospital since Tuesday & I haven't had much time to post. She had a hip replacement & has had a difficult recovery complicated by a bad heart. I think (pray) she'll be OK. But don't you worry your pretty little head about me. I have just recently spent my entire life savings building a shrine to honor your beauty & grace. I am totally devoted. You had me at Hello.

I recieved several emails about this post. I assure you, I was talking to kidd47. Sorry, I dislike including numbers, as it makes the person seem to be more of a handle rather than an actual human being. That's my take at least....

I did reread the psots and realized that myabe in an odd sort of way, I was talking to my "inner child," though I dislike even associating with that person.

Thank you all for your concern. It touched me deeply. I had quite a long conversation with someone who was concerned and ended up passing out last night. Funny story really. I was changing for bed at about 3 am and I was completely nakie. My head felt funny, and all of the sudden I hit the floor. My pretty face of course, hit the bed frame. I woke up immedietely and my boyfriend rushed ot my side saying, "Are you dead?" (He's a character also) I told him that I tripped and slowly dressed for bed. I have some battle wounds and a goose egg on my noggin.

BUT, to the person I was talking to......Thank you so much. I think that was a rather fitting wake up call, passing out and all. I need to take action and get things together.. Again, you know who you are and I can't thank you enough. And there's no need to say, "You're welcome." You rally made me think about things last night and I do so much love you for that. I really do. Maybe when I'm on TV, with the fake smile, I'll say, "Thank you so much. You've changed me." Now, I know I'm ready, sometimes it takes brute force to knock me to my senses. And don't worry, I won't rush things either. Promise. I'm getting there...But, could you please come and kiss my forehead? It's still rather sore..

And Dr Bob... Thank you for allowing me to meet such wonderful and caring people. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I really can't.

Oh, sweetheart. You're truly too kind. And all of those nice things you said, well you shouldn't have. Yes, you should have. Keep them coming at a furious pace.

Ok, let's try this love leter again. With Feeling this time.

"Love letter to kidd? Take 2. Action"

Oh kidd, do you ever know? How much I think about you and your smiling messages. The test just exudes of kindness and sincerity. Oh, to have you back on my screen would just brighten this child's day. Like a moth to a flame, I'm drawn to your sarcasm and charm. Your humor is of impecible quality, so that I seek to write to you more often.

The time we've had together leaves me with nothing but fond memories. The tears I've shed pale in comparison to the laughter and sincerity I've received from your posts. I can't wait to hear from you again. I long to see your name with a "New" message posted beside it. I shiver when I open the posts, as if I'm cold or lonely. I carefully double click on your post and *Voila* it's as if you are speaking directly to me. Even if the post isn't about me. Now I'm becoming rather jealous. Stay away from Miss Honey, you hear me? Are you listening? Of course you're listening, as you always listen to me, the way a person should. And I adore that quality.

BTW, I'm sorry about your mother. Of course I would worry about you, my dear. How could one not? Take care of her, and take care of yourself. The way I would if I were there. I'll save your post. And cherish it always. You're wonderful. And don't ever doubt that...

Oh,I think I'm in love with my computer. Is that possible? You're like the lucky penny in my shoe. I'll keep it there, in my shoe, as well as my heart.

My darling KK, oh daughter of mine, wht does this dalliance with kid mean to you and Lala. She will be heartbroken. On the other hand now that I know both of you are my daughters that would mean that you are marrying your sister and although I am in the state of CA which is currently issuing licences for same sex marriages I am afraid I can't condone a marriage between siblings unless we all move to Arkansas.

Yours lovingly,

I, too, miss your posts. I've saved your 'blues song' info, and wish you were here more often.

BTW, how the heck are you?? I'm still older than you but have memories of you from here and ASH. Funny how that works.

Hope you and the kids and the wife (if she is still in the pic) are very, very well.

Hey! My head's fine and I'm thinking straight...

I try not to limit myself in what I think I can achieve. Women, men, validation, support, ect... They're all options :) I like having options you know. I went to a Mardi Gras celebration last night and there were plenty of options there... And the coats the women were wearing were so fuzzy I jsut had to touch every one of them... My old man asked if I was on drugs. Nope, I was thinking straight!

And kid, when is your wife going to be out of the picture? I'm tired of this sordid love affair and knowing you aren't all mine...(Just kidding of course, I hope you are happy with her and the kids!) (Your phrase "You had me at hello" was so sweet! I hope you're happy hun. It brought tears to my eyes, which is a feat in itself, a I'm rather cold hearted you know! I'm trying to think of something as sweet as that to post back, but that's pretty hard to beat... Guess you win this one babe.)

You are correct. As far as I know I'm still married although my wife might not agree.

> I, too, miss your posts. I've saved your 'blues song' info, and wish you were here more often.

It's good to be missed. Speaking of blues song, I've started writing & playing again some. Wasn't sure I ever would, but it feels pretty good. I sent Tina B (late of ASH & PB) a CD of some of the newer stuff & she really liked it (well some of it anyway and she can be a pretty tough critic.) I'd love to play in Austin again. What a great music town!! You could be my booking agent.(Remember my Amarillo story?) The Wife is not to keen on the idea of me traveling anymore though.

> BTW, how the heck are you?? I'm still older than you but have memories of you from here and ASH. Funny how that works.

Are you STILL older than me? Let's see..... you're um......36 & I'm a couple of years younger........so that would make me about 34. RIGHT?

I'm so glad to hear from you babe. Your posts brighten my day. Do you like Robert Johnson?

I'm still sitting on my duff trying to think of something to top your comment. It's just not coming to me right at this particular moment.

And get that wife of yours in shape... Tell her she has competition for you affection and that may work.. But, I must warn you, I'm probably similar to your wife. I keep my men straight and in line. No diversions...

Darling, stil thinking of a way to beat that. I have a feeling in my heart that I can't though....
And I even remember the first time you talked to me... You were so sweet from the beginning.. Hey, will you marry me and take me away from my confusing and directionless life? Will you take care of me, please....... I guess that sounds a bit needy, but I'm tired of being in control. You can hold the reins for a while, OK? Just be a bit gentle, this is my first time, you know.

Hopelessly devoted to you,
Kk

>>I'm so glad to hear from you babe. Your posts brighten my day. Do you like Robert Johnson?

If you're talkin about Bob Johnson the cashier at the A&P, yeah he's swell.......OR...... If you mean Robert Johnson, one of the most influential & legendary guitar players in history; Do I like him?...I want to have his children!!!(although since we're both guys, and he's dead that might be weird. Is that weird?) Anyway..The story about him is he made a deal with the devil. In exchange for his soul the devil would give Robert (I can call him Robert... After all, we have a child together)amazing playing prowess & he would become world famous. So I decided to make the same deal with the devil. It wasn't until later that I found out I was not dealing with the devil at all, but a very unpleasant woman from the Dept. of Motor Vehicles & consequently my musical career (& I use the word career in the broadest sense)went straight down the dumper. phew

>>I'm still sitting on my duff trying to think of something to top your comment. It's just not coming to me right at this particular moment.

duff dufff duffff dufffff..I like that word.

>>And get that wife of yours in shape... Tell her she has competition for you affection and that may work..

um....or she might just kill me.

>>But, I must warn you, I'm probably similar to your wife.

hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha..(that's crazy, maniacal, hysterical,terrified, laughing)

>>I keep my men straight and in line. No diversions...

nah...I'm not gonna touch that one.

>>Darling, still thinking of a way to beat that. I have a feeling in my heart that I can't though....
>>And I even remember the first time you talked to me... You were so sweet from the beginning..

Most people would'nt describe me as sweet...more often they might use words like arrogant a*shole, creep, drunk, stalker...

>>Hey, will you marry me and take me away from my confusing and directionless life?

Yes

Will you take care of me, please....... I guess that sounds a bit needy, but I'm tired of being in control. You can hold the reins for a while, OK? Just be a bit gentle, this is my first time, you know.

I too believe I've met that woman from the DMV. And she has horns. Are you sure she's not the devil? I remember a certain visit when she revoked my driver's license. I assumed she was just jealous of my beauty and grace, until I tripped while she was taking a new driver's photo of me. There had to be a snag in the carpet, even if the floor is all tile. And she didn't do anything for my music career either, don't feel bad. I still sing off-key and the only instrument I can play is the kazoo. I'll have to put my long fingers to work elsewhere, I suppose.

And besides, when you make a deal with the devil, things always go sour. I always thought I'd want an endless supply of cigarettes from the devil. But I realized when I made that deal, the cigarettes were at the gas station and I had to pay for them. It's the devil you know, and he is very sneaky like that.

It's funny that you described yourself as a stalker. I always thought I'd like to have a stalker. I get tired of always doing the stalking. So, I'll give you my addy and you can harrass me for a while. Just be careful when you're peaking in my windows, as you may catch a glimpse of me in sweat pants. Oh, who am I fooling, I don't own sweatpants. Just don't watch me go to the restroom. It makes me nervous and I can't go. So, the bathroom is off limits, but I promise to cook naked every once in a while to make up for it. But I always were an apron, even if I'm cooking a microwave pizza. It adds pizzaz?

Funny thing happened last night. I was sitting around the house in lingerie waiting for my old man to get home and someone walked into the front porch. So, I swung the door open to find a 60 year old political worker. I had no where to hide, but she didn't say much. I'm sure if she were a democrat she would have wanted to be invited in... Well, my old man got home, and wanted supper instead of anything else. Soemtimes I doubt he's human. But it didn't hurt my pride Nope, not one bit. I thought about running down the political worker, but she left too long ago to be able to find on feet. So, I cooked dinner and watched TV instead... Lousy day altogether....

So, I guess now we have to find a pony to ride. Do you know where to find a pony? Or perhaps we could have a man-slave and ride atop him? We could lock him in my basement.

And please tell me you play the banjo.. I love the banjo. Or bass. There's something about bass players too.... You know, you could always have my children, and pretend I'm Robert Johnson. I know we don't look much alike, but you could close your eyes very tight and pretend I'm him. Just keep your wife away from me. I don't want her messing up my hair. I work hours on this hair. If she's gonna hit me, hit me in the face....

BANJO? Pleeeeease.......yeah alright I play a little banjo when provoked.

>Or bass. There's something about bass players too....

I'm basically a guitar player. So if its got strings I can probably play it to some degree. An ex best friend of mine is a terrific bass player.....he introduced me to my wife....he happened to be dating her at the time.(musicians)

Kid, you are a life-saver. I'm feeling down because I sent a prof (the one I flirt with and promised to boost my grade) that after revisiting the email, I realized it sounds like I would trade sex for a grade. That wasn't my intention, but you know how that goes.... So, I'm waiting for a reply. ANd I may be blocked soon as well... But, other than the nightmares and miscommunications with the profs, I'm going great! HA!

So, when are you coming to save me kid? :)

How do you expect me to do an acceptable job of stalking you when you're not even around?

What flavor? (I hope it's cherry. I just adore cherry!)

You said: How do you expect me to do an acceptable job of stalking you when you're not even around?

*Ok, I'm around again. Resume stalking..

You said: What flavor? (I hope it's cherry. I just adore cherry!)

*I love cherry too. But, I think if you were a life-saver flavor, you'd be one of the tropic kinds like mango banana or something. Something that makes for a strange combination and leaves that funny aftertaste.

You said: Then again, you could pretty much count on getting an A (just slap me =o/). I'm sorry it's got you bummed. If your prof misinterprets your E-mail....at the end of the day, what the H*LL. You, my little sugar plum, are destined for greatness & should'nt concern yourself with such drivel.

Yes, I do plan on getting an A. And I am not concerning myself with such "drivel" as you call it. And what exactly is a sugar plum anyway? Is this a good thing? If I could be anything in the world (other than myself of course) I think I would want to be my dog... Who else gets encouragement for such simple things as using the bathroom outside. Heck, I even give him treats when he uses the carpet as a toilet. But, if I were my dog, then where would Karen be? It wouldn't be nearly as fun if Karen wasn't around to praise me all the time.. Ok, this has to stop, as I'm getting confused..

You said: 5:30ish. Is that good for you?

Yes, that's good for me... But, promises promises.. Besides, don't you have a mean wife who keeps you on a chain in the basement? I think your wife sounds fascinating.. I mean she is married to a fascinating man after all..

Take care kid and don't let your wife get you down. I'm certain you married her for a reason. Was it for money? Yes, I think you sound a bit like me and it wouldn't be out of the question to marry for money....
