Ahhhh.. Dinah is SOOOOO cute!!! I'm tempted to post one. I'll go search for one, but only if I'm as cute as you are. It's going to be very, very hard to top, you know! :)

How cute are you???

I love it. And I have a hard time imagining that *that* beautiful little girl has grown up to be as plain Jane as you claim to be...

Hmmm...

I'll have to look for one of me - actually, my parents just gave me some they scanned in - so I'll post it and let you know!

Penny, you're adorable! I absolutely adore red hair. It's my ideal of beauty. Fair skin and red hair.

I tried to scan a kid pic and it wasn't working.. My computer kept locking up on me. I'm fairly certain it was my fault, as I'm rather computer illiterate anyway. I'll try again later, maybe. But, I look pretty much as I did when I was a child... Is that good or bad?? I'd say good, I was a pretty good looking child, if I do say so myself :)

You have to have a Yahoo profile, then you just add pictures. Alternately you can set up a Picturetrail account, which is free for the basic account.

Sooo cute, both Dinah and Penny! Love the pups, too. I'll have to work on getting a pic scanned. I'm not sure I even have a childhood pic. And I definitely don't have a scanner, but I'm sure there is one at school.

So, I'm working on it.

Dinah and Penny,

You are both adorable (and still are!).

I have no pictures of myself as a kid. And my parents don't have many either (I was the 3rd child, what do you want?).

I love seeing yours, though!

Penny, you're adorable!!!! However, your smile makes me believe you're up to no good. Do you have the temper to match that red hair? And your doggies are sooooo cute too!!! It looks like a match made in doggie heaven.

Up to no good? Why would you think that? (smiles innocently)

I guess I still have the temper - I certainly did when I was a child/teen. Now I avoid situations that make me angry, if at all possible, and tend to turn what anger I do have inward. How's that for dealing with anger in a healthy manner? :-(

>And your doggies are sooooo cute too!!! It looks like a match made in doggie heaven.

Thanks! It's funny - my little black one hates all other dogs, except for my little white one. And they get along famously. Always have.

OK, so I've been working on this for over 2 hours... I've got the most perfect picture scanned. I've tried to upload it several times and finally yahoo tells me that it won't accept a bmp file.... Does ANYONE know how to change a bmp file to a jpg (is that right???) file... And please be gentle as I'm a computer virgin!!!! This is my first time.....

Most photo software (anything that lets you adjust/correct images - Adobe Photoshop is the one I use) will allow you to save the photo in various formats. Do you have a software program where you can manipulate images? If so, open the pic in that program and choose save as, then look for the option that allows you to save as a jpg. Might be a drop down box. If you tell me what program you're using, I can help more.

You are indeed lovely, Karen Kay. And you say your looks haven't changed? You lucky thing. :)

I love the photo, too. There is so much vulnerability expressed in it. Like when I watch my son sleeping.

I was trying to load a pic of the dog as I couldn't find any of me as a kid. I looked at photos help, but none of the links (create a new album, add a photo) etc. seem to be there. I give up!

Dinah, you can't tell but my hair is in pigtails.... Just like yours. I'm rather proud of that :) It's one of my favorite pictures. I like to think that pictures like that capture the true essence of children. Mystical and magical, always wondering what's going on around them and always needing protection... That's my favorite kid pic! I'm so glad my mom gave it up to me. I love my mommy :)
