Welllll... I'm a web designer, though I don't have that as my day job... I love building websites. So I do a lot of research, and hunt for these kinds of quirky websites. I love sharing them with people who like them as much as I do :)

There are sooo many cool websites out there... thank goodness too... because otherwise I'd be a zombie :)

Now this one is truly bizarre!! *lol* The, um, itching game is, um.. well!! *l*

I (did and hope to again soon!) work in IT, and just cannot imagine what the hell I did before the internet!! *lol*

I can still remember the first thing I ever downloade doff the internet... a Guiness Screen saver of a man dancing. Was really cutting edge stuff at the time.
Anyway, years down the line I made a really great mate, who is an AWESOME web designer, and we started talking about our "when we first got online" stories, and I told this one.. Rob found it highly amusing - as he was the programmer / designer for that screen saver!!! How bizarre is that!!

I work partly in web design/maintenance in my day job (along with doing publications and publicity for my department - I work at a university), but I hate it. However, I love to surf the web. If only I could get paid for it...

sigh.

Well, once I apply to grad programs and get accepted and figure out how the heck I'm gonna pay for it all, I'll let you know and you can apply for my job and I'll put in a good word for you. Warning, however - I work for the state (public university), so money isn't one of the benefits! argh.

I may have to slowly taper off of my game playing, going cold turkey will be too hard. Then again...

You know what I have for you? ;) I have a mah jahn game that is a small application that can sort of be hidden easily. So if you are playing- pull it in the lower right hand corner of your screen. If someone comes by, press ALT+Tab and it'll switch the screen back to what you were working on. hehe...

ok, so I'm evil in SOME ways.
