I have a three yr. old grandson who is the light of my life :). I could have never imagined how wonderful being a "grammy" could be. Christmas has been fun again since he came into my life. I didn't think that was possible after my husband died...even though I was married again the holiday's still brought waves of grief. Our grandson has been a healing balm :).

<I too just became a Grandmother. My grandson lives far away so I have only seen him once for 5 hours. I got to hold him, wake him up from a nap, watch him eat, and put him back to sleep. He made the cutest purring sound deep in his throat as he ate.

Jai,
I'm sorry your grandchild doesn't live closer! My grandson lives half an hour away in our closest large city (I live in a small town of 4,000) and my husband and I pick him up for supper about once a week since we both work in that town. My first husband died and this is my son's child but it has been the best for my second husband and I...since we didn't have children together. My grandson loves my husband and grandpa is his favorite...not fair :). Well, I'm so glad you asked but you have to be careful as I could write a book on him. When do you get to see your grandchild again???
