Sounds trivial I know, but I screwed up by informing my committee way late about a hearing today, and I need at least 7 members to show or I'll be in hot water....

If you are out there reading, please wish me luck that that many will show at 11am eastern...

Good luck. Just try to relax (I know it's hard). I hope enough people will show up. Usually they do. Everyone makes mistakes, try not to be too hard on yourself.

Phew! I only got 5 members to show (out of 13 or so), so the turn out wasn't great, but the folks who showed were really interested in the topics I chose and asked tons of questions. So while it wasn't a huge success, it wasn't a dismal failure, either.

And it's over. :-)
