Well, the last few days have been difficult. On a positive note, my daughter has been workin for days on a sock snowman in her kindergarten class and chose to give it to me. It was extremely touching. Pretty good workmanship for a 5 year old, too.

They do. I had a really hard time adjusting to parenthood for a couple of years but now I wouln't have it any other way. That kid is my rock. She's the reason I can force myself to function most days. Couldn't say enough.

That is so sweet - sounds like you are doing a good job with her! She's learning to be caring and thoughtful.
Kids are wonderful. I saw the munchkins I used to care for over the weekend, and when they looked at me and said, "I love you." just for no reason...well...it just makes me teary.
