I did it again :(

Posted by Dinah on November 30, 2003, at 21:03:08

Ate until I'm dizzy. After I promised myself I wouldn't. After I promised myself to just have a nice attractive salad.

I don't dare take my sugar readings after a massive food intake like this. And I probably won't dare to tomorrow either. But you can't lie to that darned quarterly hemoglobin test. It's going to know what I've been doing.

And for what? I sure don't like the feeling I'm having right now. Is the few minutes I spend eating really worth the stomach ache that lasts for hours, the hungover feeling the next day, and the return to glucophage? What on earth am I thinking?

Would taking the readings do more that tell you that you overate? Is there something you should do as a result (that you would be more likely to do if you took the readings)?

Please take care of yourself. For your son, and Harry, and me.

I do that sometimes. Im sorry. Some days i have a lot of willpower and some days i dont. i think its ok Dinah. You can only just try your best with stuff. makeing yourself feel bad wont make it better. I know you are trying and that you are a really great person. I wonder if there is something you could do instead next time you want to eat like that? Is there someone you can call?
