Had a big argument w/ family member last night and punched myself a lot. Now my face is big and purple and I'm scared... I have to go to Uni, I've just started the course,so noone knows about my prob.s (it's a very small class too so no hiding is possible) Even if I don't go this week, what am I going to say???

Hello Pixygoth! I wonder if we are related?? Anyway, you seem to be in a bit of a bind. I have the impression you are male so I dont think heavy make up will prevent you drawing unwanted attention to yourself. You could perhaps make up an exciting & wild story that you were beaten by Romanian drug dealers or something. How about the husband of the woman ....
Maybe an icepak would help take down some of the swelling & redness.

I will try makeup but it won't hide the lumps. I don't usually wear any at all, it's quite funny (in a dark way) that my first practise at it is to hide this stuff... I have an icepack, too, tho' it's making my lip go numb...

Go to a Health Food Store like Whole Foods (depending on where you live) and get some arnica cream. Helps with swelling. You can also get some pellets to swallow. Works instantly!!!
