Okay so I know I should be posting this on the med board but I feel more comfortable here with all of you so here it is, I have done extacy before. It is something I've done about 5 times in my life all within the last 3 years. I don't drink or do ANY other drugs it's just something that when my fiance and I are having trouble communicating we can do together to open up major doors. Now please none of the "you can't solve your problems with drugs" or any of that. I never do it socially or for fun. I stay at home and keep very hydrated and stay away from alot of physical activity. Now I realize how dangerous it can be, but fortunately I am able to procure this from a trusted party. So all that said here is my question, Is it any more dangerous to do this while taking 50mg a day of Zoloft? I have heard of people who do this and it works well for them since extacy depletes your seratonin levels and AD's kind of reboost them. So if anyone knows or has a reliable way to find out please let me know. (big deep breath and exhales) Wow that was really hard I am still shaking with anxiety about asking this because I really like all of you and I don't want you to think less of me. I won't do it if it will be more dangerous than it already is. Please know that. Okay thanks for listening to me.

ecstasy is not very effective when you take ssri's such as zoloft. you may not get the desired effects from the drug.
in fact, this is why many people take ssri's as they are coming down from ecstasy, to prevent the nasty little hangover.
