Hi there all! I am not trying to get too personal or cross any lines but I feel like I am getting to know you all pretty quickly and I am just wondering if any of you are willing to share your ages with me. It would really help me get a feel for who I am talking to, and it doesn't even have to be completely specific you could maybe put 20's 30's 40's etc. Keep in mind that it won't bother me one little tiny bit if you don't respond to this. I am 20 years old, engaged to another 20 year old that I have been with for 5 years! We live together at his Dad's house for the last 3 years. We definately took a different path but it is really hard to start something so young yet really wonderful because we got to grow up together. Anyways sorry to ramble on and on (as usual). Just let me know if ya don't mind.
Thanks,
Ayla

I'll do my best to contribute though I hate divulging anything that makes me identifiable online so I will just say I am a 'mature' woman chronologically speaking. Definitely not emotionally!

The only person I wouldn't want reading my posts is my therapist! And if she happened upon this site, she'd already recognize me in an instant, so I don't mind sharing my age.
I'll be 34 next week.
My husband and I got married when I was still 18, almost 19. We just had our 15th anniversary last week. We were actually in the same kindergarten class, but we didn't get to know each other until 7th or 8th grade. We didn't start dating until 11th grade, broke up for our senior year, and then got back together shortly after we began college. Our wedding was a year later. This certainly isn't the smartest path for most people, but it was the right choice for us. I hope that 15 years from now you'll be saying the same thing! :)

Thanks so much for telling me that about you and your husband I always love hearing about successful relationships that chose the same path as me, it makes me feel so good. We won;t be getting married for probably 2 yrs. or so though because we both have some more growing up to do and we are NOT financially prepared in any way (yikes that's a tough one!!) But thanks agian I really appreciate it and that thing about Jondalar- GOOD ONE!!! :)

Who needs to be financially prepared??? Hell, isn't that what credit cards are for? NOT! But--that's the way WE did it.
The only thing I regret is that I didn't finish college before we got married. Right after we got married, we couldn't afford for me to go to college because we needed my income from work. And then, once we were more financially stable, we had kids. And it's next to impossible to go to school with kids. I'm STILL plodding my way through, one or two classes at a time. If I stick with my current education plan, I'll finally finish in about another year. That is IF I don't change my major for the thousandth time!

Hi,
I'll give you a quick background on me!! I'm 28 (29 shortly though, so making the most of saying I'm under 30 for the next year!), live in the UK with my husband, and we're just coming up to our 4th wedding anniversary! We've been together nearly 6 years now, and we met in a chat room!!
Hope that gives you a little idea about me!!!

Oh man, I hated Zoloft for that very reason. (I assume we're talking about the same thing.) Have you heard about adding ginko biloba?

Yeah I was thinking about it because someone else had mentioned it on a post I saw yesterday So I will probably try it. to you take like pill supplements or is it a liquid also I would'nt know how much to take and I also wonder if I could just drink those Sobe drinks alot of those seem to have ginko in them. Oh yeah can you tell me how to get the >> on the subject line because the ones on my keyboard never show up. Thanks,
Ayla

In reply to Ginko Biloba To: Hannah W, posted by Ayla on October 12, 2003, at 18:16:39
The dosage is 240 mg per day, taken in 2 doses. If you're lucky, you'll be able to find 120 mg tablets so you only have to take one at a time. I've had to take up to three at a time--6 per day! But I'm tellin' ya, I'd take a THOUSAND pills a day to get back what I'm missing! It took about 9 days for it to have an effect on me, but everyone's different.
I think the drinks just have a little bit of ginko in them. Not nearly enough to be therapeutic.
