:)
I'm painting my kitchen with French words. Maybe I'll use your name! Wouldn't that be a hoot?!

Hannah,
Do you speak French?
May we offer suggestions for words or phrases?
I grew up in a french speaking family. Later today, some friends and relatives will be arriving at my parents house for a short vacation. I love the motto on the Quebec License Plate. "Je Me Souvient" In English it says "We Remember".
I'll have to check the license plate to see if I spelled it correctly. :-)
Dee.

No, I don't speak French, but my husband studied it for 6 years. The words we're painting in the kitchen are all food related. So far, we've got Goat cheese, Extra virgin olive oil, barboullade (an eggplant dish), and asparagus tips. More suggestions would be welcome!

I sent an email to my daughter, the French major. She may have some good ideas (and her ideas are usually fun)

My parents just got some company in the house today; distant relatives from Quebec. My parents speak French, and I acutally grew up speaking it until I was about six. I lost most of it in French classes in school.
Anyway, I'll ask them for some. One is Sauce au bean. (spelling stinks).

Hee hee! I like Invisible and Crazy!
Le Lapin is good. Or maybe even Lapin braisé. Yummy!
This is the end of the thread.
