Parents

I'm 27 and I still live with my parents. Is this bad? Would my life be better if I was on my own? I wonder?!

Depends on your parents, I would assume. Are they nice? Do you get along well with them?

I think it's more and more common in this day and age. I lived with my parents till I married. I took care of the house, to a large degree, and yard in exchange for my room and board. For all my parents flaws, it was an arrangement that worked out well enough.

My parents are great, very supportive. I just wonder have I gotten too old for this.

Yes, I help out around the house lots pay rent. No not married, but that sounds like a good time to move out.

Sebastian,

Only you know the answer to that question!!!

Personally I am glad that I don't live my parents, they are fantastic people, but I just wouldn't want to live them, cos we all start arguing about stupid stuff.

hi Sebastian,
personally I couldnt wait to get away from the parental home but that's just me. Do you have a social life & friends etc? Are you prone to feeling lonely & is that unpleasant for you? If so you may be going from a situation where you are surrounded by the people who love you most to feeling as if you are all alone out there.

I dont know your circumstances but I think it's important not to make such a huge change just because you think you should. I know for me moving into shared housing when I was in my early 20's allowed me to meet a lot of people & make friends with people of a like mind to me. I had never had a chance to meet people like that living with my parents in the 'burbs.
Hope this made some sense
