Anyways, it's a great day to be in Minnesota today: a beautiful, sunny, and warm summer day here! Enjoy your trip! Arrianna

Anyways???
Just teasing you. Lonely and looking for someone to talk to but no one is repsonding. I repsonded for the first time to this site about 2 weeks ago. Got a couple of responses, but there seems to be a definate "in" clique on this site, and i'm not part of it. Has anyone else found this to be the case? I've got some heavy @#$t going on in my personal life that i can't share with many, and would love to open up here, but don't feel like i'm welcome to do so.

Hoping for responses.

Hi Hoping,
Here I am responding again. I'm sorry you feel people aren't, for the most part. I do understand what you're feeling about the clique thing, in fact I wrote the same thing when I first started posting here.

I think if you stick around and keep posting you will find that more people will respond. I'm still hypersensitive--there's a post above from me whining and embarrassed and sure that I'm unloved.

But I just keep on embarrassing myself. ; )

Hi Hoping

Ah, the elusive *in* clique that no one belongs too :) I think almost everyone feels that way hoping, really, especially at the beginning.
Well I didn't. Truthfully I just barged right in, but in all honesty I don't think there is one.
We're all I think, its safe to say fairly insecure and I'm sure none of us would think we were good enough to belong to an in group.
Its just that some of us have been around longer thats all.
Welcome!
I'm sure that if you stick around you'll find this to be a really supportive and fun place.
This month though there have been many posters going through tremendous personal pain, and that could also account for the feeling you're being ignored.
Please stick around for a while O.K?

Yeah, and Kara Lynne isn't lying either.
She still thinks people are ignoring her,
and we love her ; )

I'm miserable and sick with a stupid cold, so posting seems more or less like climbing Mt Everest right now.

But I can listen.

What's going on?

Thanks to both of y'all. Both of your letters gave me a chuckle, which i have said before is truly one of my greatest pleasures. I love wittiness that still comes through the smothering sense of personal pain, and despite how many of y'all think you're "mentally unstable" or whatever, when you can let your sense of humor come out, that is a definate sign of healing and functioning (which unfortunately we are forced to do). I have a fairly large group of friends, mostly through work, but only a couple of true friends that i can really talk to, and i love the idea that i could have maybe a couple of more on this site. I never knew there was stuff like this even on the internet. I kind of stumbled onto this when i plugged in lexapro on the address bar (which i wasn't able to take by the way). I welcome new friends more than you know, and thank you for offering your friendship to me.
PS I never was much for the clique scene.

Me neither, I was always on the wrong side of them. This place has been a great source of support for me, and I hope you find the same for yourself here.

Well falls?

Well, I left my husband and moved into an apartment. We had aol, so I needed a new email address. I was sitting in my kitchen trying to come up with something neat and unique. My apartment was right next to a water fall (how cool is that?). I could see the falls from my bedroom window. I heard the falls all of the time. So I sat there thinking and the falls fell. And the falls kept falling. FallsFall.

I don't live there anymore, which is sad. The landlord was a little weird. My new place is 3 doors down from my ex, so the kids walk back and forth. I recommend that highly.

Sometimes I go down to my old apartment, and the falls are still falling.
