Blurr-ipity Woop! Meepy Weep! Boing. Boing.

Posted by Tabitha on July 22, 2003, at 2:59:13

10 Things, neither good nor bad...

1. Finally cooled off. Well same temp but less humid maybe.

2. Ate too much pizza

3. Watched offensive reality show Who Wants to marry my dad. You can see in the women's eyes they're thinking, Gee, is that guy really worth going thru this humiliation? What am I doing?

4. Up Too Late Again

5. Gee it's quiet when you turn off the TV

6. That Jay Leno makes me laugh. Does this make me an idiot?

7. Angelina Jolie sure is hot. But who cares about the cambodian kid. Enough about the kid already. Whaddaya think her dx would be?

8. The ant traps finally ended the kitchen sink ant plague. Now spiders are starving. I've upset the delicate ecological balance! BUt no fear, when the temp passes 80, the fruitflies are sure to breed in the garbage.

9. Chest cold, coughing. Freaky, respiratory goo.

10. Idea: I could make a vest with pockets to hold those freezer gel packs, surround my upper body in them. SUrely I'd feel cool then.

My pick for this lifetime!

Hmmm... Perhaps it says a lot about me that I find her sexuality rather frightening rather than attractive. Now Meg Ryan, that's a different story. Or Kate Hudson (or Goldie Hawn).

For me, it's Jennifer Lopez, though her beau is a bit too 'pretty' for me, and Charlize Theron. She looks a *little* like Angelina Jolie, dontcha think?

Kate Hudson, yeah she's a cutie. I consider her this generation's A-cup idol. Every generation needs one. Mine had Mariel Hemingway... until the implants. Though they're gone now, the memory of the betrayal lingers.

Charlize, I always thought was like Ashley Judd, only I like Ashley better.

I love Angelina, I think she's incredibly sexy.
At first I thought the comparison to Charlize Theron was odd, but then looking at a picture of Angelina again, I could see the similarity.
Meg Ryan is just too darn cute for me, I like Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn though, to me they seem to have more of a natural girlishness to them.
I loved your idea of the gelpac suit.
Wow its 1pm and I haven't even had a shower yet.
I guess maybe those comments I should keep to myself..

Aren't they all pretty offensive? The spin offs are beyond absurd. Ugh.

> 4. Up Too Late Again

That is my frequent problem.

> 5. Gee it's quiet when you turn off the TV

Yep. And the car radio, too, sometimes. Especially when there is too much talking at me.

> 6. That Jay Leno makes me laugh. Does this make me an idiot?

Go to sleep? : - ) Nah, we need the laughs.

> 8. The ant traps finally ended the kitchen sink ant plague.

I think you sent 'em over here--my kitchen and sink are crawling with tiny ants. Well, at least they're not roaches!!

Re Mariel Hemingway--I read an interesting article about her in a magazine. She is very conscious of her family history of mental illness and works hard to maintain a healthy life. That is why we don't see her in movies anymore, I guess.

Maybe it's because they give off happy vibes, and I have no talent for happiness. :)

Want to eat everything in site since being off the appetite

**Oh my god, I watched that show the other day too and it
was offensive. Do those kids seem nuts to you? What a weird
show. I've been drawn to the surfing reality show lately--Northshore.
Did you watch For Love or Money before the dad show came on? Were you
jealous of what's her names abs? Doesn't she remind you of sandra bullock?

> 6. That Jay Leno makes me laugh.

Shoot, whatever makes you laugh is definitely a good thing.
Laughter is where it's at. Do you ever watch The Jamie Kennedy
experiment? He really makes me laugh outloud.

Yeah, she really doesn't do it for me. I think Billy Bob is
kinda hot. But he can't keep his dick in his pants.
I'm with another poster--Drew Barrymore is very hot. I like
it that she's kind of voluptous too rather than these sticks we
see all the time. It always kind of cracks me up when a bunch of
women posters are talking about what women they think are hot.
Sometimes I think women are more into the way that women look than
men are.

I'd feel cool then.

I love it! I'd buy one!

Thanks again for making me laugh!

Yes I've watched for Love or Money, but I find it excruciatingly slow-paced. Northshore at least has the surf competitions to break up the dullness. Marry My Dad... yes the kids are creepy. The Dad is creepy. Last ep was a tongue-kiss-fest, he seems to have zero conversational skills, so he spends all the alone-time kissing. Then they have the kids watching on voyeur-cam. Ick. Ick.

I can't bear candid camera type shows. I feel sorry for the poor fools. But I do laugh uproariously at america's funniest videos.

Women just notice the subtleties a bit more. I think men have only 2 or 3 categories for female attractiveness.

Maybe soon I'll be selling them on ebay.

>>Sometimes I think women are more into the way that women look than

>Women just notice the subtleties a bit more.

I think this is true!

>I think men have only 2 or 3 categories for female attractiveness.

And the 3 categories just might be breasts, breasts and breasts, LOL. Actually, what do we think they are? Maybe breasts, thinness, and long hair?

And, I think homophobia is less of an issue for women than men, so we are freer to express what we think about how another woman looks.

I think that either there is some underlying evolutionary purpose to why women notice how other women look--and why women often are dressing for other women's critical eyes more than for what men notice (maybe we think they don't notice the important stuff?), like maybe it establishes status among the women of the tribe or something......OR, we are conditioned by the fashion/cosmetics industies and magazines, etc. to notice how each other looks and dresses etc., or maybe the cosmetics/fashion/marketing angle is just like a megaexplosion of how the women of the tribe communicate non-verbally about who is going to be the alpha female?

But I do think women often pick style based on what other women would think. Although, maybe that is changing lately as the styles become increasingly scanty and revealing--maybe the styles are more oriented now toward what men think? Nah, the scanty styles still have the female critcial eye angle--women think about what other women will think about their ability to show off their flat tummies in their belly shirts.

OK, but shoes? Definitely something women notice much more than men!!
