a new woman.....

Posted by kidatheart on July 15, 2003, at 13:46:39

hiya, im a 27 year old mother of 2. i recently had a partial hysterectomy and was put on zoloft about a month and a half ago....every thing was going great except my libido did a nose dive(hubby wasnt thrilled about that..lol). so my doc. put me on wellbuterin...i think the name is. well, libido has come back up but i also have noticed a few other things too. like hot flashes, headaches, things aggrivate me easier than before when i was just on zoloft. if anyone has any info or experience with these let me know, are these just temperary side effects or should i go ahead and call my doc? thanks:)

You might want to go to the Babble part of the site. Most people there know a deal about medications and can help...
As for here, we are on meds too and usually can help.

I for one am on Wellbrutin, after multiple different meds, and can NOT orgasm. This has been going on for a bit, luckily I am single and I understand what you are saying....

I am single mid 20's from Michigan... And always on this site between 8 - 4:30 M-F...
So I am always here!

I am on Wellbrutin and prozac... and no matter what goes on.. it just does not work. It is so frustrating!!!! So you know that is what is on your mind most of the day.

Well I am about out of work. Talk to you tomorrow.

I don't have experience with it, but you said in an earlier post that it involved removing one ovary. I would call the doctor about it, myself. I wonder if your hormones are changing and does that need to be addressed?

yeah know, i had thought that too. but apparently she thinks otherwise. i get so frustrated lately. my libido has gone back to the way it had been before problems came up. but my hubby is always complaining that i want "it" too much. he wants me to adjust my meds so my libido is lower. i am happy as i am. how do i comunicate that to him?
thanks:)
