my first grade teacher, Miss Redding ... ... i was extremely ashamed to discover that everyone Knew how i felt, when i had never had any idea anyone could have noticed ... ... i wanted to die when she got married and everyone felt sorry or me.2) kiss
on this bus, on a friday night, full of my pre-teen school mates, taking us back home ... ... ... this sister to the girl i had a crush on taunted me into kissing her ... ... total agony3) make out
i don’t remember ... ... maybe later on at the “club” we went to that the bus took us home from in 2)?4) steady
i was freshman ... she was a junior ... ... selina ... me: puppy love ecstasy confusion .. in “love” and way over my head .. ... she was the first 3) i can remember5) date
i took selina to her prom ... ... spent most of the night negotiating my survival and safe passage through the seniors who felt like murdering the punk freshman at their prom ... ... beginning to the end for me ... ... i couldn’t dance ... meant doom.6) broken heart
ah, yes, selina cheated on me with her best friend’s boyfriend ... ... it hurt so bad that i lived in a near psychotic denial ... ... her best friend was screaming at me about it at school ... ... i couldn’t hear her ... ... everyone was pitying me ... ..but i didn’t know why.7) lust .... define anyway you want :::(try to keep it clean! there’s children watching! aren’t there?)
the greater part of doom with selina was my total lack of the nerve that was expected of me ... could not handle the inner tension ...it was years later in another part of the world .... it was very like 3): virtually anonymous, short, clumsy, tense, sweaty ... disappointing8) adult significant other / long term relationship
we lived together for about 2 years ... ... got engaged, sent out invitations ... ... three weeks before the wedding my spiritual teacher sent his two top disciples to tell me (he was out of the country) that i should not get married .. ... when i told her she cried for 3 days ... ... we are close friends now and she and my wife are close ... ... she is shares a special relationship with our son ... ... he adores herTo understand you better, what should people know about you relationship to your:
9) mother .... ... ... i realized i couldn’t trust her at 5
10) father ... ... ... ... the last 20 years he was my best friend ... ... ... i have not filled that loss
i’m bailing out on 9 and 10 ... for now ... .. . they died last june and i can’t do it yet ... when i am well for this it will be important a development for me ... but not right now11) sibling(s) .... got 3

Hmmm... not sure what qualifies.. I think my sex drive peaked at 15. I know, they say women are supposed to peak at 35, but there it is.

Bubblegum 60's music, I think. The Monkees. Barry Manilow (see how brave I am?). Eric Clapton's Unplugged album. Mostly hymns. Favorite song? Maybe Ode to Joy from the Sister Act II soundtrack.

Football to watch, tennis to play. Son's baseball game was last game I went to.

Heroes? Moses, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington. I love the reluctant hero. Role models? No one with a name anyone would recognize. Just individuals I know who handle their lives with grace and equanimity.
