And I don't feel fine......
Well sports fans, seems like the two visits to our new marriage counselor didn't "take" with the Mrs.
From a friend of hers, I learn that she is "about to burst" from all the pressure I have been putting on her. The friend also informed me how the Mrs. and my older daughter had been conspiring against me as far as a monetary issue was concerned.
Seems she is facing a decision about whether or not to pack it in and call it a day. Rather clear that she has chosen the older daugher over my other daughter and me, and is willing to make that "move". The obsession she has for the older daughter is explainable (those who know me know the story better), but that she would bolt my other daughter and me is without reasonable explanation.

I'm sorry, Pax. Your daughter is very lucky to have you. I know your main concern is for her, and I commend you for that. I do hope that your wife is guided to make a decision that is best for your daughter, too.

PAX<<You're quite right there Pax...there isn't a reasonable explanation at all. There might never be. I rant at the world to change and make life easier for those that struggle with so much and yet all our difficulties continue. Dangnabbit.
I think you have to take some very detached pratical steps to protect yourself and your younger daughter at this time. I know it might sound callous but that is what needs to be done by the responsible parent in this picture...you.
The rest is going to work out and it might get messier before any healing can occur. Remeber you aren't the bad guy here. You are just living through nightmare circumstances that would try anyone.

No hope? I'm no Pollyanna but I'm wondering if there might be a solution short of the two of you splitting up. I'm hoping there is one (if that's what you want). If not, then I agree about taking action right away to document everything, protect your assets whatever they may be, and getting a lawyer. When the party's over, it's best not to waste time, IMHO. Very, very sorry if that sounds cold, but I've been screwed over in the past, and a good job he did of it too. You don't want to be bereft of assets (whatever they are) if it comes down to it.
