I heard from Bozeman

Posted by Dinah on May 4, 2003, at 21:30:02

She's doing really well but is still having computer problems. She says:

"I really miss you and all my other
friends on the board. (I have got to figure out
what's wrong with that goofy computer!!!! AHHH!! It
powers up and starts to boot but then never makes it
to the startup page . . . just sits there in computer
sleepy-land, still dreaming, I guess. :-) At any
rate, I miss all of you and hope to return when I'm
less technically-destitute.

You have my permission to post this as you feel
necessary and appropriate.

Thank you, and I send a bushel of hugs for you to pass
out. :-)"

SAME thing was happening to me....

I needed a new power supply. If you chat with her again, tell her it can be as simple as a watch battery (not a joke) or as lame as the big thing with the fan. Of course my "watch" battery was fine, but thank God for extended service plans.

Tell her we all say hi, please.

ps...Aurora wants to say hi , too, meow

Thanks Tony,

That's why I made sure to include that description from her. I know nothing about computers and I hoped someone would have a suggestion I could pass on to her.

I appreciate your input there. I'm just sorry it came from recent experience.

Good to have you back.
