Hi folks
Thanks for the support I received early on in this episode. I am hoping to go back to work tomorrow- I'm not completely better, but am a lot better than I was. And living on my own with no local friends means its been a very solitary time (which made emailing distant friends, the Samaritans, and the Board a real help).
There's an hour's commuting each way, but I'll work short days at first to avoid the rush hour...
I know lots of you will understand the hopes and fears attached to tomorrow, and it helps just to let you know. I've just sent a long email to my new manager, who has been supportive but formal so far, explaining the things I would feel awkward to say to her face to face re my depression and what I need.
Keep your fingers crossed (at least virtually) for me!
Fi
