Well, I think it's great that you are able to recognize and label when you are projecting. That's a great step to be able to take.
I had a lot of trouble with the board at one time because of the enormous potential of the internet to be a huge blank screen on which to project. It took a lot of time in therapy before I came back here, and I still bring things from the board to therapy sometimes for some perspective.
Do you have a therapist right now? I can see you have the skill set to recognize projection. Do you have the skill sets to challenge the distorted thoughts that come from the projections? If not, that could be a good thing to work on in therapy.
If this place is a hotbed for potential problems, it is also a rich source of potential growth.
Good luck, whether you decide the board is a positive or a negative place for you, in doing what is best for you.

Kristen - it sounds like you are going through something similar to what I did (although I don't know fully what projection means) with the MOOD SWINGS. Mine were both biochemical and then medicine-induced.
As far as I can tell, the KEY to this is getting on the right mood stabilizer med(s). I went through quite a few and I think (KNOCK ON WOOD) I'm finally on the right ones.
PLEEEEEEEEZE get in touch with your pdoc and your therapist RIGHT AWAY, like first thing Monday 4/7 and get in to see them on an emergency basis.

Hi, I wanted to reply to Krissy and to Caleb who replied to this
on the psycho babble board. I feel like you guys, too.... as Caleb put it
"in deep dark fucking hell....every goddamn day". Today sucks.
My relationship with my best friend is falling apart. No meds seem to work
for me and I can't reach my psychiatrist. I woke up late and was
an hour late for work today, but at least I came. I was
thinking of calling in sick but it's probably better that I did
come. I've called my therapist, waiting to hear back
from her. I might go to the hospital in the near future... never
