Except for the huge bald spot that is very slowly starting to grow hair around a very neat, almost invisible scar . . . and he's sleeping more than normal, still . . . the vet pronounced him healed, good as new, fine, well today.
No more poking antibiotics down him twice a day, vitamins, cleaning his wound, changing his dressings, having him growl and run from me when he sees the "treatment" blanket that saves my hands from his claws, crawling on my belly to drag him out from under the bed to go see the vet, etc. etc. etc. etc.
WOO HOO!!!!!!!

"way to go, kitty boy!!"You're a good kitty mama, bozeman. Maybe you can leave Mr. Meanie Blanket out & let Zorro kill it to his heart's content to get even with what it did to him?
My Medusa is never going to "get better" - chronic renal failure isn't cureable but it can be managed & she's doing great. I only have to wrap her in the old big towel once a day now to give her meds & then let her free. She's eating & drinking LOTS on her own now & is feeling sooo happy with me that I've quit "torturing" her. Her coat is soft & lush again, her weight is fully back to normal & she looks & acts like she used to (which isn't overly active but she IS an old girl). Still, I can't believe how well she's doing. Maybe Zorro & Medusa were saying a little prayer for each other?

Hi. It's me Aurora. I am so happy to see my friends are doing well.
Zorro, Kill that blankie. GRRRR, HISS. I would kick it to shred as well as the people we own that "helped" us. I often inflate Tony's ego by letting him think he's helped. Maybe, you guys should too, as it often elicits treats.
Tony and I pray for all cat's health, for we will rule the world someday. Remember that they help us out, but the unconditional love we give them in return can't not be taken for granted.
I will admit, maybe they are not all that bad at times.

Great news about Kitty. I am getting ready to get my first kitty ever and I am pretty nervous. I want to be a great kitty mamma. I was thinking maybe I should get two so they can keep each other company while I am at work?

I have had two cat's one for 18 years( Charlie RIP, PAL) and now Aurora ( a stray I found about 8 years ago) I wish she had a "pet", too. Well, she has me, but I am not up to her intellectual standards.
when the time comes, and I pray that is a long time from now, I would get two. they get so spoiled after, esp Aurora, that I would not trust her alone with another cat. Hell, I barely trust her while I'm sleeping...lol.
So yea, get two at the same time; they will both enjoy each other's company.
