hi lili80,

Sounds like youre feeling very overwhelmed.

Whats been happening in your life to get

you so anxious?

You sound like you feel "trapped" and thats a

really ugly feeling to have to deal with alone.

Care to share and maybe one of us can help you

come up with some options that might help make

things a little better.

WERE ALL HERE FOR YA, KIDDO!!! :o)

oh yes dear friend,
remember that special night under the stars,
we knew it was far to chilly to be out,
it didnt matter,
skin to skin,
i will never forget.....
my grandmothers quilt has new memories now,..

I'm an 'oldie' who remembers you: I always remember people who bring happiness and laughter into my life, as you did a year ago when you recommended the hilarious "Autobiography of a One-Year-Old". You had bought the book for your sister, who was expecting a baby: you must be a proud aunt by now.

You also beat me to the prize of half a pound of flesh (a Big Mac) in one of Lou's fun Shakespeare quizzes, but I've forgiven you :)

You had been treated disgracefully by your college, and were involved in an anti-discrimination suit against them. I hope you won: I know that the bigotry against mental illness that exists among apparently enlightened, educated academics who should know better can be appalling.

I'm sorry that you are still looking for an antidepressant that works for you. I've been in the same situation for a long time, except for a couple of short periods when something worked for a few weeks before pooping out, as Lexapro did for you. A month ago I started augmenting lofepramine, the tricyclic NRI I've been taking for nearly a year, and which had never pooped *in*, with 800 mg/day of lithium. Lithium augmentation, which I hadn't tried before, is reputed to be effective against poop-out. It's early days yet, but the combination seems to be working :) It might work for you; there is still hope.

It's good to hear from you again :)

Jonathan.

Please be sensitive to the feelings of others and don't post anything that could lead them to feel accused or put down, thanks.

Please excuse my slow reply. I was keeping quiet in the hope that Dr. Bob might not read threads which have been archived and no longer seem active — he does :(

Yes, Lou still posts here frequently. Although it looks as if he may not read every thread on Social :) , he still posts his 'pure entertainment' stuff like the Shakespeare quiz on this board. Here are a couple of recent examples which you might enjoy.

http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/social/20030223/msgs/203130.html

His more esoteric posts now appear on the new Faith Board — http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faith/ .

This is the end of the thread.
