Here's a peppy kind of site for those attempting to make positive changes in their lives. I haven't read the whole site, but the parts I have read are smart.
Anyway, maybe it's got one good piece of advice someone would like to follow, and that would make it worth it.
I have already begun cooking my veggies in fat free chicken broth (advice from someplace else, though), and it's great.
Hope there's something here you can use. (Try not to be put off by the church thing.)

My Kitty would like it too.

I don't know, but they're fun. My neighbor has one.

I have one . . . it's actually a lot of fun. Can just gently bounce if you're tired or have vertigo (I do often these days), or if you're feeling perky (frisky, as you call it :-) you can actually jog in place on the thing. My doc insisted I get one. She says it's the best exercise there is for your immune system. Go figure.

Now you've got me paranoid about grammar. I reworded the above post three times, knowing you would read it. Didn't want to leave my parts dangling (parts of speech, silly, what did you think I meant?) That would be soooo embarrasing. Like not being able to spell embarrassing. :-)
Oh, I'm too tired to be witty. Sorry. I'll do better soon, I promise.

I had a mini trampoline. It was fun, but hard to get your heart rate up to really get an aerobic workout. At one point I tried holding weights, which turned out to be cans of corn. There I was, jumping up and down on a mini trampoline, a can of corn in each hand, waving them up and down. Kinda felt like performance art.

Now I want one. But it'd probably end up being someplace else to dump stuff on, like every flat surface eventually becomes in my house.

My husband was told by some native American that if he wanted to cure his chronic strep throat, he had to jump up and down 100 times in the shower every morning.
He has never had strep in the 20 years that I have known him until this year. I'd guess it's because he stopped jumping in the shower about a year ago.
I'd bet there's truth to the immune system theory.

Are you kidding? Is that okay with your doc? My resting heart rate is 50. I was in the hospital over the summer because I had some kind of pleurosis, and my heart rate while there was 44-46. I was kind of scared it was so low, but they said it was fine.

LOL, Dinah. That would be true for me!!
I know that my Mom's stationary bike is her bathing suit drying rack. At least in her case, it is indirectly supporting her exercise. I have a friend who dries clothes on hers. Together with the trampoline, it could make a nice ensemble, no?

Actually, you sound like a little chippermunk! You're a breath of fresh air in this sorry world. : )>
The heart thing is ironic. In other ways, you have one of the strongest hearts here.

Sorry, silly's about all I can do after about 9pm or so. And it was way past that. Check out my ridiculously long-winded rambling post to bluedog in the thread below. Sheesh, if I was bipolar, I'd have called it manic for sure! Talk about embarrassed . . . . gee whiz, some people talk too much. :-D
Too much on my mind, thinking too much, trying to decide what to do about "boyfriend with hairball who's been kidnapped and replaced by a rabid wolverine in a boyfriend suit."
Going back to my "pen" now. Trying to clear and clarify my thoughts so I can talk to him about it, and resolve one way or the other.
Thanks, beardy!
