Well, it's official. I start a new permanent job tomorrow. This is the first time since Dec '99 that I've had a permanent position and is the first time since late '98 that I've tackled a full-time job without ADs...I am feeling optimistic but am terrified at the same time. I am definitely going to need 2 Xanax tabs in order to sleep tonight! Just thought I'd share.
Jitter, jitter, jitter.

Thank you, Dinah, Ted, and Phil. :-)
Today was much easier than I expected. I admit that I did have a little help from Xanax (2 tabs to sleep last night, half a tab this morning and half a tab this afternoon). I just hope nobody noticed. (I didn't feel zonked at work or anything.)
Everybody was very friendly and my manager made my day by telling me that she had something challenging in mind for me. Yay!! To top things off, I arrived home to find a letter of employement stating a higher salary package than I thought I'd negotiated. Not bad for somebody who started her job on Friday the 13th...
I am definitely in the mood to celebrate!
