You're a bully you don't wash often
have poor taste youre ashamed of me
I should of kicked you where you lay
Your habits disgust me
Don't touch me
Those long dirty nails in my skin
The daughters not the norm
Lock her away from her friends.
You lie
You abused my father
Blackmail
You smell
Delusional denial
Drunk
I fantasise about your death
You'll probably outlive me
Youre like a reptile in stagnant waters
I forgive you but
I'll never like you
Vampire
Witch

I wouldn't say it's not in good taste, Dreamer, sweet one. Some mothers are wonderful - they're everything a mom should be for her children. Others are parasites & scar their children forever. It's not being a "mother" that matters - it's who she really was. Barbara's was good & her loss is real. Yours was horrible & your loss is she's still alive. Both you & Barbara are hurting & both of your pain is valid.

IsoM,
What beautiful words. Both women are hurting and you expressed that so well. Thank you for such balance IsoM.

Thats the problem I cannot here..
I am a outsider raised on torture pitiful and chronic.
Nice things and words don't come easy it takes work and hard control..but lately the control filter is fading..
I am sick and tired of discussing the past with new doctors makes me ill..I have to send a birthday card to dearest mother because I'm terrified of her.
blah blah blah..not everyone has had the privilidge of love.

you do read this, I want to let you know you are not alone. I could have written those exact words except I don't think I've gotten far enough to "verbalize" my feelings yet. Thank you for letting me see that I can. You also mentioned that you forgave I hope someday I will be able to say that as well. That does give me hope, but I have so much anger I can't get there yet. It is nice when people have a loving relationship with their mothers and I hope I can have that kind of relationship with my children. Barbara, I am sorry for your loss, remember the good times :)
Thank you Dreamerz..

I'm so sorry you've had such amazing pain & cruelty in your life. These words seem tremendously inadequate & I apologize for that.
Speaking out is so very important. I don't know your age, or circumstances - for example if your mother is currently in a situation where she can actually harm you (verbally, physically, through family, etc). What scars we carry as a result of what happened to us when we were helpless little children & also of what has happened to us even when we're NOT helpless little children!
I send you my loving hugs. Kath
