No, you DON'T deserve a slap. You were only posting your views on matters & you weren't the least bit unkind about how you wrote it. I feel bad that you're so low & are so hard on yourself, dear dreamer.

How could you possibly be offensive? You may feel pretty rotten inside & maybe there's lots bottled up inside that isn't nice at all. But crap! We all have bottled up angst inside that could be nasty if released willy-nilly. The fact that you're NEVER nasty says much about your kindness & consideration for others.

Even if you can't stop feeling hard on yourself, we sure don't feel that way about you. What is it about you that we only want to shelter & protect you? There IS a very gentle, sweet nature about you that evokes the protective maternal or paternal instincts in most of us, or maybe brotherly or sisterly. I can't imagine any one getting upset with you, dreamer...

Nothing to be sorry for, dearest Dreamer. We all know you're Switzerland and love you for it.

Don't let it give you a moment's dis-ease.

Dreamerz we're you talking about the Psychobable

Admin, Latest thread.. avec moi as the STAR??

I hope you don't think you've offended me anyway,
You are DR.EAMERZ..and even if you had, (offended me that is) you most charming, and enigmatic daisy dolling dear, would have certainly earned enough 'just because you are Dr.EAMER credits.. to be forgiven.

I thought, perhaps wrongly, but it doesn't need to made clearer (cuz you did say, you didn't understand what you'd said anyway)
That you didn't say anything because you weren't sure if it was a joke or not, and then when you realized it wasn't a joke you were "civilled" out, and didn't want to say anything, because it might not be 'civil'

As dinah said "no dis-ease please"

IsoM Dinah and Gabbi are so right dear. You didn't offend, and I've never known you to even come close to offending with your posts. Don't give it another thought. Take care of your own sweet self.

Think these drugs have pickled my brain..reduced my effexor for three days now to see if that helps to re animate my brain cells...
Sometimes lately I'm reading these threads and just don't get it..if I don't sleep for 12 + hours I'm like Alice in wonderland (or should I say paranoia~land )how people can still hold a job is beyond me.
I'll be ok..eventually . I think I'm getting well then things get grim...
Just rambling...
Thanks for keeping me going : )

Dreamer

I was suppose to wake up today, from my nap, and was having a hard time. Spoke with my mother over the phone but had a hard time keeping conversation straight, but decided to give a girlfriend a call to help wake me up. Got her answering machine and proceeded to leave a message. Much to my suprise when I got up she was at my house drinking a cup of coffee waiting for me to wake up. By the time she got home apparently my message was a complete mess of nonsense. Hmph ... (just goes to show that great minds work in the same manner)

Dreamer, dear,

If you mean the one about it's only a web site (or something like that), then I hope you didn't take my reaction badly. And I only just got home from a few days away, so sorry that I didn't write sooner...

I know how you felt, and most of the time, I agree, but not here (PB) so much. I have a kind of real relationship with several people here (like you), so it's hard to make the distinction between life and art...

much love, and stop whipping yourself (unless of course you're enjoying it),

Wendela

ps: sorry about the effexor, I absolutely despised that drug... is it helping you at all?

If you weren't so shy Dreamer I would call you up and get you off to the dentist. My eldest got a pet rat and I have to admit I wasn't thrilled at the idea. But now I'm quite in love with our little rodent. Perhaps you should get a baby rat, domestic one?

I do get a smile from my friends posts on here. So do tell Dreamer do you enjoy whipping yourself? In some countries it is quite acceptable and the norm. In Finland, they strip down buck naked and jump in the sauna to do so.

...and don't they use willow branches for the whipping pre-sauna? And don't the willow branches make a whistling sound as they swish through the air? Nice to see you get around the world. ^_* Say hi to the folks in Finland for me.

If anyone decides to get a pet rat, unless you're housebound & willing to spend *lots* of time with your little pet, get two. Rats are highly sociable & by themselves, become extremely lonely. To keep one lonely little rat company to the extent of what's normal for them is very taxing on one person. You don't have to keep them company all the time but if you don't, they tend to pine away & become neurotic easily.

Two rats become best buddies & always entertain themselves. They won't give you any less love - in fact, they'll compete for your love but with no animosity to each other. They're sweet & very clean really if provided a clean home.

A friend's two rats were the cutest things. They loved a bit of ice-cream but would try to hold it & then drop it because it was too cold for their little paws. One discovered if he dropped it on his brother's back, he could lick it off & his brother couldn't take it from him.

I want two rats but I can imagine the interest my kitties would take in them, probably freaking the poor rats. But then I want a ferret, some chickens, a anny goat, a couple of geckos, a few sea otters & river ones too, an ocelot or two, an elephant... You get the picture - Tarzan of the suburbs.

Me shy ? All depends on the mood...RATS ? No it's enough to empty the kittys litter tray
Went out today and left my front door open silly me..I need to be whipped into shape.
I knew someone once who couldn't get aroused unless he spanked..broke a wooden ruler on my ass..that he said was the ultimate thrill ..I never did again it after that...but.....

Dream-person,

We could list so many! "Sordid-Sexy Practices I Have Partaken Of..." Rulers, handcuffs with keys (oh my! was that nice!), whips with little tails...
Yeah, like you, not any more... But you know, like somebody says on the faith board, to eveything there is a season... Those times may return again...

love-gulps,

Wendy

Not in Finland! They use supple young birch twigs to tie up branches which have birch leaves already on them. And they are used in the sauna when you've got a sweat going. Oh those were the days trying to mimic the adults.

>And don't the willow branches make a whistling sound as they swish through the air?
I can't say that I have any first hand experience regarding the willow; however, I do recall my mother once grabbing a switch off the handliest tree available and chasing after me. My memory of the moment and laughter stopped once I tripped.

>Say hi to the folks in Finland for me.
Now what would they think if I said my buddy Iso says hi? Would they think you were a wrestler off WWE (world wrestling federation.) My one uncle is missing. Today we called the police and tomorrow we should have some information. Luckily the hospital had none. Sucks being so far away. My father and I really have to get around to arranging for our passports. Did I ever mention once when he was ill he made it there and back without one? Those days are gone I guess.

>

You don't need to tell me about this. My poor daughter at first (her rat) didn't want anyone else to play with her, but now even her younger brother is welcome to. Luckily she's so cute that finding someone to take her out isn't a problem. And no way am I getting a second. I'm neurotic so if the rat starts showing my tendencies she'll fit right in.

>You get the picture - Tarzan of the suburbs.
My neighbour asked me why I don't just get a farm after we got the rabbit. Our cat is starting to show his age and doesn't tolerate any of the other critters in the house, he's become a recluse running to hide under the sofa. (Which reminds me say, "I am a sofa king" really slow stressing each sylable. The things children learn at school.) I've thought of getting a few chickens for the back yard or ducks. The domestic variety, enough wildlife around here without having to take responsiblity for feeding them.

Well it's time for bed again, figure I must be coming down with a cold, head aches and son is already showing signs of one. The joys of winter, I just pray that it snows more so we can go tobagganing. At least I can send the children off to go on their own. I can only wish. Two more weeks and they'll be home for the holiday.
