Now Bobby and Gabbi got my all curious about starting a light and cheerful thread on what colors people chose for their houses.
We just bought our 1st house and before we moved in painted the bedroom butter yellow, 3 yr old daughters room PURPLE (medium purple, not faint light purple, but not grape either) and my 1 yr old son's room is sky blue. Our living room has a double roller technique on it in two blues, sort of looks like blue camoflauge. I can't wait to start on the bathrooms! :)
And Bobby, I'm not even Jamaican! :) *giggle*

Hi Sandra, FYI My son's room is half barney green and half barney purple--needless to say that is my least favorite room. My daughter's room is peach with red and green roses speckled on top. The bathrooms are green. Just helping on the thread...Bobby

I don't think I could sleep in a purple room. My daughter loves her's though. Sounds like your wife likes shows like "Trading Spaces" and HGTV shows also. I was hooked on them before we moved/painted. Now I have so much to do, I sometimes tape a show, but don't have the time/energy to watch it. Does she torture you with those shows too? My husband groans when he sees they are on.

So... what color should I paint MY bathroom? I want to decorate it with ladybugs. Okay, stop laughing so you can finish reading my post. Not dragonflys just ladybugs. I have maroon stencils and stuff... so should I just go with a cream color then decorate, or a greyish? Haven't come to a decision... any fabulous suggestions? Time to start watching Trading Spaces again, or HGTV - I guess.

Hello Sandra! Listen--I may be an expert(by now) at applying paint but when it comes to home decore--I'm in the dark totally. I am however pleased with our master bathroom which is forest green with a cream floral borders. Does that help?

Hey, green... there is a color we don't have in the house yet. And ladybugs on leaves/grass... hmm... I'm going to give that some thought.
My husband is going to the races tomorrow - all day. I'd love to shock him with painting the bathroom, wonder if I could do it... have to get a sitter. Mission Impossible... (can you hear the music playing?)

computer room: pale flesh pink
master bedroom, arts & crafts room, hall, and living room: pale peach
son's room: pale blue
kitchen: pale green
exterior: "oyster" off-white.my wife likes custom colors from Kelly-Moore paints. :-)
