Well, I don't know about melting, but...
When I pull up your admin posts, I get my own post instead. I'm going to have someone come do a reality check on this.

Sometimes just when I think my brain and I are starting to cooperate, it spits at me. "Ha" it says "you were just starting to get comfortable weren't you'. Sigh
Did you see what CntrlAltnDel did to me? It was fiendish but so clever I have to admire her.
I told her yesterday, that because of her mentioning dancing naked, she'd started off a 9+ hour "earworm' in my head. Meaning the song Shadow Dancing by Andy Gibb of all things (haven't heard it since I was 13)had been buzzing in my ears non-stop.
It did however stop by this morning, and I made the mistake of course directly tuning into P.B where I saw her first cheery post to me which read: Shadow Dancing Really? is it in your head right now...
So apparently innocent and so cruel and very very clever.Oh Its going to be a long day.

It could have been worse, Gabbi. What if it had been Muskrat Love?
Oh no............

This is a conspiracy to have me stop posting all over the place isn't it. MUSKRAT LOVE Why that song... Susan another twisted genius another torturous earworm song. Why can't Rachmaninofff get stuck in my head Well His music anyway.
However if it makes you all feel a bit better than to have someone to pick on then (SIGH) I don't mind.. probably wouldn't even notice if I was gone anyway.....

Like, "Bad boys-bad boys" cops song? :) That gets stuck in my head a lot.
Or since I have kids... it could be worse, you could go around humming "I love you- you love me- we're a happy fam-i-ly... with a great big hug and a kiss from me to youuuu won't you say you love me tooooo". Ack. Choke. Gag.

Grin.
Your post made me realize that it has been FOREVER since a song got stuck in my head. Then I realized that it has been FOREVER since anything stays in my head for more than a nanosecond.
Maybe I'll start humming Reunited by Peaches and Herb (?). That song was stuck in my head for a week once, back when my brain was working.

You are far to clever to have just slipped that song title in there because you thought I might be interested aren't you Dinah?
DINAH?Why do people know just which songs to mention...
Somehow though, it brings back fond memories of my lovely former roomate Renee, who had a finely tuned wit, and the cruel streak which seems to accompany a rapier wit.
She would sometimes first thing in the morning start singing a song I had actually never heard before, but she had to introduce me to as a the most horrid earworm ever.
And I had to agree. I can't remember the title..But it went something like:
I've moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo
Da da ad nauseum
I've dined with kings and seen some things
a woman just ain't supposed to see
I've been to paradise but I've never been to meeeee

I wasn't going to look, but it didn't work because then I just kept thinking about all the songs you might have been thinking of...Which was its own torture
Its funny how universal they are.. yes I only know two lines from the Bad boys song but its definately been an earworm.
Another one.. For meAll the tea in China
all the tears in the deep blue sea
and all the love in the heavens above
won't keep you here with me.Where do they come from?
Hell I suppose.
I don't even know when the last time I've actually heard them was.

I remember it... well, I remember parts of it.
Tried to get Reunited stuck in my head, but I didn't make it through the song even once.
That's it. I am officially empty-headed.
This is the end of the thread.
