I worked at a group home for the mentally challenged for 12 years. I loved it.
But I quit about 18 months ago because my depression became crippling.
Nobody warned me that if I stayed that long I would turn into one.

I am a preschool teacher at a Nursery School (presently closed for the summer..woohoo!)
I love working with children, only the parents can be stressful(heehee). I worked for 10 years in a government center with very challenging children, I enjoyed it very much, but eventually dealing with alot of sorrow and political CRAP, I switched to an country nursery school (most of the children come from 2 parent families with tons of money). I am hoping to eventually go back to the government center, as I found it much more challenging, but right now the rest is doing me very well!

Funny, I pictured all of us in dark livingrooms, eating off TV trays and watching Wheel of Fortune
while we waited for our medacaid checks.
I'm an x-ray tech/artist/seller on the interent.

I'm a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful little itty bitties. My daughter just turned 3 and my son just turned 1 (beg. of July). I cook, do dishes, laundry, wash toilets, vacuum cheerios almost daily, wipe noses and bottoms. I play with play-doh and markers and paints. I pretend I'm a horse and give rides on my back on occasion. I am the VCR tape injecter person, and the snuggle and kiss my owwie person. I am the "take my picture" and make chocolate milk person. I'm the "eat all your veggies" and "pick up your toys" enforcer. I go to parenting classes of my own free will (not court ordered or anything) to try to be a better mom. Hmmm... this should have been a 5 part post if I really listed all the things I do or am! :)
