Golly! I just peeled them and cut off chunks with a knife then sucked on the seed. I guess I need a whole new approach.

BTW: Filipino mangos are more sensual than either Haden or Alphonso mangos. :-)

Sadly, I do.

The last time I looked at something so firm, yet soft, and round, yet shapely, and thought about unpeeling it to taste its sweet nectar....

... my wife smacked me.

My Dearest "Beardy"
(I do hope you will pardon my presumptious
familiarity in your title)
My studies in both semiotics and linguistics have proven to me that language, including grammatical correctness is, almost organic in nature by the way it evolves. In some cases it is as mutable or if you will, whimsical as the designated "propriety" or "impropriety' in clothing fashion.

For instance the words shit and fuck which are largely considered at the very least rude. And yet they were originally considered quite proper Anglo-Saxon language. The Romans decided that anything associated with Anglo-Saxons was so disgusting that even the language became itself reprobative.

Similarly the word spinster which is an equivelent to the somewhat denigrating "old maid" originally was to refer to a woman who did not need to marry, as she had her own living, which she earned by spinning.

So, to you I say.

What theee hell r u gitten yer knickers in a twist for, with all this grammer schoolin stuff, if ah jes wate long enuff my apostrofee will be kinsidered fine n proper. Smatter o fact it could be okee bah sundown. So youu jes mahnd her own beezwax wudja.
Affectionately,
Yers in jestin

Its a wild and crazy day on the message board!
This is really a job for Tabitha, I just sound so..clinical
Okay, no green, or very little green, some people like them very very soft, I like them like a just ripe avocado. Now there is the organic ones are amazing...heavenly, and I paid 6.99 for one. It was a cashier surprise, and I won't do it again but I will never ever forget it.

Don't eat the skin. Seems obvious now, but its a thin skin. I did it in front of a bunch of sophisticated artsy, boho musicians once, and they all chuckled, and said it was like watching someone eat a bananna with the peel on.

Very, perfumy slippery, and if sliced it looks just like ... well. You'll see, the Japanese translation for the name is "sex fruit" and I believe they are referring to the female sex.

Then again in reverse Coca Cola when translated into Japanese ended up being "bite the wax tadpole" that is not an urban legend. However its apparently been changed into something more palatable sounding. Seems no one argued with the Sex fruit idea.

Whoa Don't ever ask me anything, if I had manic proclivities I would say I was getting manic, but as I lack that lable I think I'm getting downright selfish in my use of precious space.

A genuine apology for going on, and on.
Speaking of going on did I tell you about the time..

A sincere apology though

Folds and unfolds her hands, looks down demurely, (sneaking peeks at Miss Beardedlady, ma'am).

I'll bet it would never occur to you that I was known as Miss Goody-Two-Shoes throughout elementary school. (They smoke in the bathroom?!!! Odd, no one ever told me that. Imagine!)

I am so sorry to hear of your and dreamer's problems with living arrangements. What a charitable message from the YMCA! I didn't know C stood for Christian. I'm sure He is delighted with their mission to help the tourists.

I have always been so fortunate in my life (so far anyway, never pays to take these things for granted).

But don't I remember that you are living with the curtain opening morning loving father? Is that to change soon?

Its late, so I may be wrong, but wasn't such a thing mentioned in Bible. I think it was "the meek shall inherit the earth, because the wealthy will be in all the places with ceilings"
Excuse my loose translation but I think it is in there

LOL, Gabbi. I'm going to write that one down. But we had better watch it or we'll be redirected to PB Faith.

So let's add some social. The klonopin has kicked in, so I'll make hubby happy and head off to bed. If you and Tabitha register at Yahoo (PB Open) I think it would be fun to have a night owls chat. (Although I would rather recover from the insomnia - don't mean to be rude there, but...)
