Posted by terra miller on April 30, 2002, at 13:03:30

how's that for a question off the beatin' path?

but seriously, i know this is something you're supposed to do from time to time. i just don't know how to; never bothered to learn; other more important stuff to do... you get the point.

thanks a lot.

just go into windows explorer and into your temp files in the windows directory. This should be all your cookies. Select All and delete. Then empty your recycle bin.
Easy peasy.

i dumped my temporary files. it reads zero now. but i didn't have to dump my recycle bin because when i went in there there wasn't anything in there. does it sound like i did it right? (i used the directions for windows 98 using the link you all provided.)

Cookies (in Windows 98) are kept in [Windows Directory]\Cookies\ (usually C:\WINDOWS\Cookies). You can delete them like you would any other file (hold shift while deleting to bypass the Recycling Bin).

Hope this helps,
Chris

It's nice to have a lttle program that keeps the cookies you want. . like logging in here. That's how the site knows who you are, so you don't have to reenter the info.

I have Cookie Dog for the Mac. He was only $5. Go to versiontracker.com and do a search on cookies.
