For Tina - your poll » tina

Tina, if it's inappropriate to respond, let me know politely & I'll take the hint, but I love the OTs - they're a sweet, understanding bunch (& I can't think of any that aren't).

Little things (though when one is seriously depressed, they barely warm our hearts at all):

- a baby's chortling giggle (it comes from deep in its belly - so real)

- a little chickadee holding tightly on a branch as he hangs upside down picking tiny bugs off the branches

- in bed, the warm pressure of my cat snuggling into my back & feeling the vibration of its purring

- the first cup of steaming tea (coffee) in the morning cradled in one's cold hands while the house warms up

- seeing one's bulbs planted last fall, opening their flowers for the first time

- curling one's bare toes in the new cool spring grass

- watching on TV, the long-separated North & South Korean families finally seeing each other after 50 years & crying with them

- noticing my almost 27 year old son cleaning his room & seeing that he's still kept his first stuffed animal/toy he had when he was 1 1/2 years old

- listening to the spring peepers & tree frogs as I fell asleep last night

- getting a big hug from my sons & a "I love you"

I've stopped at ten points. There's many others. Sadly, none include a mate but that's another story. Each person will have different things that touch their heart. And even when I'm in the depth of pain & can't really appreciate these things, I do have the memories of how they touched my heart & it provides hope that they will again.

Definitely not inappropriate IsoM. Thank you for responding. I'm compiling a list of reasons to live. Not that I'm contemplating suicide, I just want to have a list that I can look at now and then when I feel like life isn't worth it.
thank you very much for including the things that YOU love.
