It depends on the color and style of my hair, but I've been told I look like Billie Holiday, Madonna (Nope!), and Simone De Beauvoir when I'm wearing my glasses.
The main one that comes up, though, when wearing a long brown wig is Tracey Ullman. Three strangers have told me so and once a couple teenagers stopped me in a parking lot and asked for my autograph! So I guess she's the one, I'm sure I could do worse.

Sigourney Weaver (sp?). I was told once only though, so it must have been my hairdo that day.

Who people say I sometimes look like: I'm always told I look like someone they know....But I've heard Celine Dion, Christine Lahti...but mostly people say I "remind" them - not necessarily look like - of: young Bette Midler, Joan Cusack, a thin Kathy Najimy (?), Megan Mullaley (Will & Grace)...go figure. But the thing where people swear I look like their aunt or friend from high school...oy vey.

At least they don't say YOUR DAD. A female version, of course. I only claim to have his eyes...

I'm guessing the closest I and my mother come to anyone famous is Aunt Bea from Andy Griffith Show. At any rate Aunt Bea reminds me of my grandmother and my mother and I both look like my grandmother. Only not as well dressed and tidy as Aunt Bea.

Heh, I added apost but it didn't show up.
In Jr. High, I was likened to Molly Ringwald - the brat pack was big back then.
Otherwise, think tall (used to be lanky before Depakote), longish face, blonde hair(most of the time), blue eyes
My hubby says Molly Simms, but that's just a prototype.
The last I went to Dallas, I couldn't believe how similar we all looked.

He was in "Ghostbusters" and played Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors". I think he also used to be one of the comedians on SCTV.

Apparently I resemble one of the kids in Home Alone !?!? I've never seen it and so can't possibly comment.
I think I look like Brad Pitt. In that we both have eyes and arms and stuff.

I always try to get people to say that I look like either Naomi Campbell or Roshumba. So far no amount of bribing has got anyone to say I look like Naomi, but a good number have admitted (note: under duress) that I look like Roshumba, only shorter and not as skinny. I know I look better than her in my dreams! Damn million dollar contract out the window. Damn genetics!

Looks like I join your club, trouble. No one has ever told me I look like someone they know or anyone famous (or infamous). I, too, just look like me.

When I was a teenager, my mom got everyone to believe I looked like Raquel Welch. (Eyes and arms and BOOBS and stuff.) When I grew older, many (my mom AND my sister) have said I resemble Cindy Crawford (though shorter and with a few extra pounds). Once when I was a teen, someone said Linda Rondstadt (pre cocaine-flattened nose). In early fall, some poor, misguided stranger who wasn't trying to pick me up said Elizabeth Shue ("Leaving Las Vegas"). Two others who know me well said the girl from "Titanic." (I didn't see it; is that Kate Blanchett?) Last semester, a student said Melissa Gilbert (ew gross).
Which just shows to go ya. I mean, Kate Blanchett and Melissa Gilbert? Do any of those folks look anything alike?
Frankly, I think I look better than all of them. (And the facial hair doesn't detract at all.)
I am quite interested in meeting Lou, of course. : )>

Roshumba used to be a model, now she's some type of business woman.

It was wrong of me to say she used to be a model -some models see this as an insult. She still works, I think she has an on going promo with cover-girl make-up, she's just diversified her work more I think.
This is the end of the thread.
