I've been out of sorts. Why? Perhaps just too much on my plate?
Anyway, out of frustration last night I said, "I sure would like to take a couple days off, just to QUIT being a mother."
Eldest child replies, "Mom it's not a game!"
I wonder how she got so smart with a pair of duds for parents?

It's amazing how much kids seem to know about parenting isn't it? Maybe someone should talk to a lot of kids and write a book on parenting based on that. :)

Have you ever watched the show "Kids say the Darnedest Things"? I think you are on to something Dinah. You should take that idea and run with it, it would definitely be a best seller. I wish I had written down some of the things my daughter has said...just to remind her when she's older.
