They were a blast to see in person this past summer. I have a coffee table book with pictures of them all. They also have done this in Switzerland (the first place), New York, and Chicago. Seattle did pigs. Its kinda that thought of something being so stupid its fun.

Just gotta love dem cows-did your dad ever pull over on the side of the road during long rides, to moo at the cows? My dad did this on a regular basis, when the family took weekend trips to grandmother's house (3 hrs. south of Selma, Al).

His moo was lovely, deep, idiosynchratic, heartfelt :) And he could always elicit a response from some lonely bovine in the herd. Ah, my dad, he was somethin' else.

That's so neat. Glad to hear others do it too. I moo, cluck, baa, & chirp at every animal I can possibly do so. My sons have dragged me away from barking at dogs in parked cars. Chickens come running to me when I cluck. I'm not sure what I say to them.

Heh..Heh.... Yeah, I lived in Chicago when this exhibit was there on Michigan Avenue. It was a lot of fun. My favorite cow was the Marylin Monroe cow in front of Salvatore Ferragamo. She was Moooooooooovalous! ;-)

See, AKC, you haven't lost your sense of humor, it's important to hang onto it, and look at all the people who laughed tonight because of your moo-post. I know things are bad (I'm ready to dump my therp, too, but that's another story), so I know how it goes on that score... Has the depression lifted even a little?

Thinking of you,

Wendy
